Horrible Customer Service
Planning on deleting this app! Trying to place my order was very difficult due to a issue with the app. I was hung up on by two different SkipTheDishes employees while they were “looking into the issue” The third person I spoke two didn’t offer anything helpful. Finally after I was able to place my order (I had to call back and get a refund for items I was forced to add) Once I finally received my order there were three missing items. The SkipTheDishes employee I spoke to about this issue was very rude and I ended up having to ask for her supervisor. Overall this was a huge ordeal just for a burger and I can’t wait for UberEats to offer delivery to my neighborhood.
Unprofessional customer service
This will be my last time ordering with you guys, but I suggest if you're going to call customers and give them an option to replace an order, understand that the customer would then have to go back on the internet or app to search through the menu. I was told to "hurry up a bit". Originally I asked customer service what my options are as far as a drink replacement because that’s the option I was given when the call started and the guy clearly offered a refund only because he didn’t know the beverage options himself. I asked twice because I was really wanting something to drink and he just repeated the refund options. My phone conversation with your customer service was only for 3 minutes and I was being rushed to figure it out within a minute of getting on the phone. Proper customer service will allow people the few minutes they need to figure out something like that. I shouldn't be expected to have the menu memorized right when I'm called. SkipTheDishes or JustEat can rebrand itself into as many names as they want. If the service is not professional they will continue to get these horrible ratings. I was so shocked someone would even dare rush a CUSTOMER within A MINUTE of getting on the phone with them. It’s not my fault you guys don’t pull up menus for situations like this like OTHER delivery services do and it’s also not my fault that I have to find a replacement because the store doesn’t have the beverage!
This company let me place an order, saying it would arrive in approximately 72 minutes. A little long but I can handle it on a busy Friday night. They then charge me for my order on my credit card, and suddenly a notification popped up saying “delivery drivers are not available in your area, check back again later” What THE HECK? Why let me place an order if you have no way to actually get my food delivered. And check back when, in three hours? tomorrow? In five days? I ordered it because I have a family who is hungry in the next hour, not in ten hours or however long you want me to wait around and keep checking back hoping maybe I can get it sometime someday. And now conveniently it takes 3-5 days for the charge to go back to my card, because YOU BET I cancelled and ordered directly through the restaurant. Just had to go pick it up myself but it was ready in 15 minutes. Sure delivery is convenient if you have a lot going on and a family, but this whole experience was kind of ridiculous and I’m deleting the app the minute I get my money back from this order.
