From the very beginning, TipStuff has put your private data at the centre of its concerns (at the same time, we're a family like yours, so it's our data we're talking about too).
As a result, unlike some of our "free" competitors, we will never sell your data. Never is never. That means never selling files to merchants, never advertising, never linking to companies like Facebook or Google.
Now that "never" comes at a price that is entirely funded by premium recharges. The premium allows us to pay the developers who make the application, the machines that make it work, the storage space to put all your data, the support when you have a problem, etc.
That being said, we are aware that some families have a moderate use of TipStuff. That's why we've introduced a free version that does come with some limitations:
- Advanced features not available (stickers, multiple alarms, week view, PDF export, global search, etc.)
- 100 events per year (on account anniversary date)
- 100 tasks per year (on account anniversary)
- 3 authenticated accesses maximum
- 5 contacts maximum
- 2 weeks of calendar synchronization

Ratings & Reviews

New:
- A parent can set a member's agenda to read-only: they still see the whole family agenda but can no longer create, edit or delete an event (setting has to be enabled, off by default).
- The idea editor gains two tabs: delegate and notes.
Fixes:
- Summer holidays 2026: they showed on a single day instead of the whole period (zones A, B, C, Corsica, Guadeloupe, French Guiana).
- Martinique holidays 2026/2027: every break ran through the first day back at school.
- ProStuff families: 13 labels showed up empty in the app.
- Member sheet: the Info and Preferences tabs were cut off at the bottom, with no way to scroll down to the button.
- iOS: no more "this item was purchased with a different Apple Account" alert on app launch.
Change:
- Invitations and sponsoring now rely on the 6-digit code only: no more invite link, and the QR code is gone from sponsoring cards. The guest installs the app from the Store and types in the code.
