I was amongst the many people complaining about the update. Thankfully Gym Next listened to us and gave us the option to keep the original simple interface! Maybe one day I’ll continue to try out the new version but I honestly appreciated the original. What I want to note is the customer service. Not only did they respond to my comment on facebook and Instagram I was also emailed about my discrepancies. This led to us finding a bug in the update which will be corrected in the next update. I always appreciate not only a company willing to listen to its customers but also one who’s willing to make sure the experience is pleasant. Gym Next remains my favorite gym timer app and will continue to be the ONLY app I use !

The GymNext Flex Timer (hardware and app) and the customer service is best-in-class. I initially learned about the GymNext products from my prior gym, hearing nothing but praise from all of the trainers. When I built my own home gym, I modeled much of it after the gym I had been attending. This included purchasing a Flex Timer Home Edition. I am so glad I did! The product and app has been so helpful for my workouts. The display is clear and easy to control, and the customization of it is impressive and exceeds expectation.While the app and hardware are second to none, I have to share how amazing the customer support is. I encountered a technical issue caused by one of the chip manufacturers that required a replacement part. The owner responded to me personally, and supported me beginning to end until I was good as new. Responses came quickly and were articulated well. The level of support I received was so good I am still amazed. Bottom line is that with choosing GymNext you’ll get amazing products with phenomenal support should you need it. You can trust that your money is well spent.
Timer doesn’t save

I have used this app for a few weeks with seemingly no trouble. I’ve got 2 different timers favorited which I use most often. Yesterday I tried creating a segmented timer for a new workout routine to try, and when I went to use it today, it was no where to be found. Frustrating to spend time labeling everything and adding correct rest intervals for nothing. So today I recreated the timer, favorited it. Took a screenshot bc I was nervous to even back out of it. And sure enough it was there! Only this time, it only saved the first segment I created. The other 3 segments on the timer were nowhere. So I have a SS of the timer I made and the timer that saved. I will try a 3rd time to recreate it, but if it doesn’t work I will have to move on. I love the flexibility of this timer app but it’s for nothing if I spend the first 30 min- 1hr of my workout session messing with timers every day.

This timer was given to me as a gift. I didn’t use it often and was surprised when it stopped working. I reached out to customer service, via email, and explained what was happening and to my surprise, person who helped me, without delay, said, it sounds like you need a new power cord. First of all, I was surprised to get the quick response and secondly, it was sent to me free of charge. That blew my mind! Looking back I think it might have been my fault because we have had multiple power outages in this area. Now I unplug it when I am done.
