The Oticon ON App provides discreet remote control of your hearing aids, letting you adjust the volume of your hearing aids independently, switch between listening programs, keep an eye on your battery level or even help you find your hearing aids if you lose them.
If enabled by your hearing care professional during the fitting session, the Oticon ON App can also let you access specific programs designed to help you move your attention away from your tinnitus.

The Oticon ON App is also an easy way to handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids. Use it to control your Oticon TV Adapter, or devices such as Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip which can be used both for streaming and as remote microphones.

With the Oticon ON App, you can set personal listening goals and follow your daily hearing aid use through HearingFitness™. The Internet of Things feature lets you connect to a wide variety of Internet-connected solutions through the IFTTT service.

The Oticon ON App is compatible with all Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids.

Makes my hearing aids seem possessed

I kind of like this app in that I can adjust the volume and program of my hearing aids from my phone instead of having to mess with the buttons on the aids themselves. It’s nice to have that option because to me it’s quicker. What I HATE about this app is that it will randomly start muting and unmuting my hearing aids or going back and forth between programs or increasing and decreasing the volume over. And over. And over. I can do nothing to stop it except turn my Bluetooth off for a while. It doesn’t happen when my batteries are nearly low, as another reviewer wrote. It happens any time of the day or battery charge. I can open my app and just see the different programs going back and forth, while my ears are ringing with different beeps and getting muted and unmuted. It’s like they’re possessed or something and it’s super creepy and annoying. If someone is talking to me I have to stop the conversation and mess with my phone, which I consider very rude, but there’s no other way to make it stop but to turn off the Bluetooth. It also drops connection to one or both hearing aids randomly, even if my phone is in my pocket, so distance isn’t an issue.
This app needs a patch BADLY and immediately.

Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. This issue might be due to multiple iOS devices being paired and controlling the hearing instruments at the same time. Please make sure to have only one iOS device connected, by disabling bluetooth or forgetting the hearing aids in MFI on the device that you don't wish to use. In general it is ok to pair Hearing aids with two or more iPhones/iPads, but it is not recommended having hearing aids connected to multiple MFI devices simultaneously. If this does not solve the issue, please reply to this comment and we will investigate the issue further.

Like the hearing aids, app disappoints

Several frustrations with the app. Compared to the functionality of nearly all apps I use. The aids are slow to respond and it doesn’t maintain settings. The open boost feature does seem to help. Streaming works only intermittently, sometimes one ear, sometimes the other, often neither, and I have to constantly reset When used with the TV interface be warned that when you turn it on it is at full volume! There’s a lot that could make this work better and I don’t understand why it can’t be improved. I don’t have near these problems with other Bluetooth devices. Oticon is apparently struggling in comparison with many other apps and technology. I know Apple changes their IOS often without warning but Oticon needs to figure out what others are doing. I hope this changes soon! I would not recommend these expensive appliances until they fix technology.

Read this “pairing is a 2 step process instructions included

Ok i have followed and read a ton of reviews on this app. There is one thing that i have not seen spoken about. If you install this app and try to bluetooth connect to it directly than your in for a world of hurt! After ios 11 you HAVE TO “FIRST” GO TO SETTINGS/ACCESSIBILITY/HEARING AIDS ON YOUR PHONE AND CONNECT YOUR Hearing aids directly to the phone! This is an Apple IOS change. After you have done that that open the app and it than bluetooth connect to your hearing aids. It is a 2 step process. First accessibility CONNECT and than after connected there ,open the Oticon app and connect in the app. What I am reading is people are trying to connect directly with the app. YOU CANT! Ios 11 and above does NOT work this way. People connect your Hearing aids thru the accessibility FUNCTION BUILT DIRECTLY INTO IOS FIRST “it will not work unless you do that first” than open the app and connect them there. Yes it takes a bit for them to connect every time but after they do the app functions properly. I hope this helps someone out. BE SURE THAT YOUR CONNECTED THRU ACCESSIBILITY FIRST!!!!!!!!!
