NEW for Halloween: the Haunted Manor and the Mad Scientist's Lab. Ghosts, knocking, lightning, and a creature under the sheet, all on your Hue lights.
THE HAUNTED MANOR (NEW, Adventure Pack)
A candlelit Victorian parlor at midnight, with a moonlit graveyard outside the window. The clock ticks, then stops. Footsteps cross the floor upstairs. Then the room turns cold and something passes through, bulb by bulb, or three slow knocks sound at the door. Slide from Eerie to Terrifying, and press Boo! to send a ghost lunging at the screen.
THE MAD SCIENTIST'S LAB (NEW, Adventure Pack)
A stone laboratory on a stormy night. Rain lashes the window, the coils hum, the beakers bubble, and something lies under a sheet on the table. Pull the lever with Zap! and lightning crackles across your lights. It Lives! surges every bulb, then plunges the room into darkness with a heartbeat. A Mishap! fills the room with green smoke before a flask explodes. Slide from Tinkering to Mad.
Christmas lights! I love them!! The easiest app so far to control Phillips Hue lights. I have a lot of lights and I love that I can organize the lights by group and quickly control each group from 1 page. I think this will quickly become my go-to Hue app.
Love this app!

I have set up my house so every room has Phillips Hue. Even my outside doors have them. I absolutely love the scenes in this app. The variety of colors and matchup they have is awesome. It makes it super easy to pick a mood. The scenes with music are awesome as well. I'm hoping a few more Halloween scenes happen before we hit October. I do wish there was a way to set presets for some scenes. I've found one scenes the default brightness is sooo low. Easy to adjust, just annoying. The pal can be buggy here and there but for the most part operates great. I use this more than my native Hue app.
Almost great

I like that this app sort of "fills in the gaps" of the official Hue app, and it is worth buying at least one of the dynamic effects, but it is missing basic things other third-party apps have, like being able to read the scenes already added to the Hub, and being able to add your own scenes.I also appreciate the Apple Watch app, and I like being able to control brightness from my wrist better than the official Hue widgets, but there's no way to access scenes this way.
In App Purchase Required for Anything Interesting
Scraatch
Seems like it might be a good app, but can only judge the interface, which makes switching between color palettes pretty easy.Down side, you can't demo any of the more interesting features like the dynamic palettes, as they are all locked behind in-app purchases. I get needing to make money, but try to show off one of the cooler options, to encourage a buy.Check out OnSwitch, similar features, and more to try before you buy.
• Apple TV: play every scene on the big screen while your lights join in. Packs you own work on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
• Pumpkin Patch: a harvest moon, silly jack-o'-lanterns, and a dancing scarecrow.
• Moonlit Graveyard: waving skeletons, glowing wisps, and a midnight bell.
• Cozy: fireside cafés in Paris, Tuscany, Andalusia, and a bookshop, from a rainy evening to a bright room.
• Dinner Party tables now have soft background sounds.
• No Hue Bridge yet? Tap Try the Demo on the first screen.
