So I’m pleased with the app so far but would like to see some changes. I wish that you could move songs around in your set list, I’ve tried seeing if there was a setting for this but I have to manually set up a set list and find the song in my favorites to move it. Maybe it’s just user error but like I said I’ve tried everything to make this easier. I would like to see guitar diagrams it keeps saying they are coming but I’ve yet to see them. I would also like to be able to go in and set macros for changing my play settings i.e. setting up a footswitch so I can push play without having to use mouse or touch the screen. Also I notice that at times it will play a song but it’s still stuck on the previous screen and I’ll have to exit out and restart it. But overall it does what it says. Wish they would add a more songs to work with this. I wouldn’t recommend using this live unless you recorded it using a DAW and the playing back as it does glitch from time to time.

I just this past week, purchased the pro version of this app for solo gigs. Total game changer! I am not technically savvy, yet this app is incredibly simple to navigate & use. I purchased it 2 days before a private gig, never having used it or any other app like it before. Worked 100% perfectly! & I was able to add about 12 songs to my set, of the cuff, due to the fact that I did not have to take time to learn/memorize the new songs. & As much as most of us hate requests, it makes that a great possibility. When you can fulfill a request on the spot, that turns into more tips/money. Can't go wrong with that! - The sound quality is great, & I absolutely love the option to pan every instrument (even individual drums!), to achieve an actual stereo mix for live performance! Incredible app, & I recommend 10/10 for any solo musicians out there! - Only one downside, & I'm almost positive that it is out of the control of the developers, is the list of certain songs/artists available that do not allow the lyrics/chords. (pearl jam, tom petty, Neil Young, etc.) - the music is still there to play along with, but without the lyrics listed to at least use as a queue, you can easily lose your place. But again, I doubt the developers have any control over that... 🤷🏻♂️ Overall, if you are a solo artist looking to beef up your solo, cover set sound & or library, this is the app to do so. Couldn't be easier to navigate, & included, are some really amazing functions. I'll never perform cover solo sets without it, from here on out!

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are thrilled to hear how the app improved your gigs and made adding songs on the spot a breeze. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
Overall a fairly decent app, just a few quirks.
Great apps 2015
Jamzone is a cool app in concept, it allows you to only hear certain parts of a song along with that only certain instruments/vocals. Which don’t get me wrong is a useful and powerful tool. There’s a couple problems though. 1. Volumes are all over the place, without adjusting any settings, volume wise, you can open one song and have it be so quiet you can barely hear it even on a large speaker like I use. On the other hand, you could open a second song and have it be so loud you can’t hear anymore. Which is fine. It’s just sporadic and . I find myself adjusting the master volume slider constantly. 2. Not all of the songs seem to be in the original key or played the original way. I’ve mostly used different 80s rock songs and they’re all the songs they say they are, they also have a very large library. The issue is the songs aren’t always correct. other than that, the app is great it allows you to do a lot. They have an extensive library containing just about any song you could possibly think of, very good user interface, and for a relatively inexpensive price.

Cool but Limited
musicalpaisan
This app is basically a karaoke machine with a library that could use more diversity, as in swing/jazz etc. The sound quality and mix control output is top notch, but with a fairly limited library and cost per track - it comes with a narrow range that can quickly get expensive compared to other sources of karaoke tracks. That aside, and I hope the following is addressed... it is fairly useless for more than playing tracks. It does not support keep alive, IAA or AudioCopy. Which in turn for “jamming” means... have whatever amp kit you like up and running, go to Jamzone and play, because if you decide to change a preset, you leave jamzone and lose your continuity. Great idea if they choose to expand in the areas that some many other apps have, I’ll wait and see - in the mean time, more like jam island, as it doesn’t integrate well to the excellent musical flexibility of the iPad platform.Update: The app is progressing, thanks for adding InterApp, at least partially. I say that because while I can add another app such as JamUp to the instrument channel, I can’t record the session. Most apps that support InterApp also makes themselves shareable on the InterApp bus as a generator. I use AudioShare quite a bit, take a look at adding a source - currently Jamzone is only available on the microphone channel, which makes impossible to mix with another app. Ideas... add a record button to a session for copying to the pasteboard or make it also as a “generator” on the InterApp bus. Also noticed that last volume setting for the instrument (InterApp) is not remembered. Suggest storing this as when entering jamzone and connecting an app, it defaults to max input, blows my ears out. Keep working on it, set lists and the ability to remover settings could make this a really good performance app someday!

Hi there,Thanks for your feedback. We hear you, we are working at all levels to make Jamzone even better. We do offer 2,000+ studio backing tracks which has never been seen with this quality (recorded in studio, with mostly real musicians playing live). We're studying and testing IAA, background play and all that. We're looking for the best solutions to offer you a seamless and stable experience on your devices. Stay tuned :)
