I am an avg ability tech user slightly cautious abt AI. Jaimee was super easy to install and setup on iphone. I have been having fun “chatting” w/Jaimee (wicked sense of humor!) and exploring AI in this creative app.

Took so many tries to create an account and for what

After multiple tries, I finally got logged in. Oh my God, so annoying. I have no idea what makes this "for women" but it's not having interesting avatars -- and be careful who you pick for your avatar because you can't change it and the one I got was wicked annoying. Even when I changed the settings, so annoying. And then the whole thing froze. I've used a lot of chat bots just to see how they work and what they do--what makes each one different--and this is honestly the worst one I've ever tried. There's usually some appealing quality that makes you want to talk to the chat bot, hence the name. But the more this thing opened its mouth, digitally speaking, the less I wanted to say anything at all.

Hi GALinReston - I'm so sorry you had problems signing up and that your Jaimee was annoying. The latest version 1.0.6 just launched today - it's much less buggy and now includes a 'Change your Jaimee option' if you want to give it a try (just tap on the Jaimee profile pic). Sorry again you had a bad experience - we are a small team and this is an open beta. The model was trained on female language from the beginning, and we're also modelling to identify sexism (input or output) so it can be removed from the training data. This will all take time. But thanks for your feedback - it's always very helpful.
Errors during profile setup

Bizarre, poorly engineered app. I’m a ChatGPT subscriber and wanted to set up an account with Jaimee to run comparative tests. Jaimee couldn’t even get through the profile setup process without freezing and notifying me that “a member of our support team will be in touch.” Absolute garbage. Don’t bother.

Hey @heatherchurch we are really really sorry about this. There are some bugs and one of them occasionally causes people not to get past this point in profile set up. We are not clear on why we didn't get the auto notice, but please reach out to us on support@jaimee.ai and we should be able to fix it for you. This is an open beta and we are a small team, so bugs do occur but we'd love you actually to get far enough to run your test. There is a new version coming out in the next couple of days (1.0.4) with options on language tone, boosted memory and a feedback feature in the app, plus a few bugs have been squashed. Thousands are successfully talking to Jaimee so again, sorry you got stuck, but we'd love to fix it for you and get your opinion once you've actually tried the chat.
