Reviving a classic KORG analog synthesizer. The iconic 4VCO synthesizer, reborn on iOS. The Mono/Poly analog synthesizer appeared in 1981 at the same time as the acclaimed Polysix. Not only was it a fat-sounding four-VCO monophonic synthesizer, it featured a revolutionary design that allowed it to also be used as a four-voice polyphonic synthesizer, which helped cement its legendary status. The long-awaited “KORG iMono/Poly” iPad/iPhone app completely reproduces all features of the original Mono/Poly. Four VCOs and a rich array of modulation allow a wide range of detailed sound design. New functionality such as two multi-effects units and eight virtual patches are also provided. In addition, the seamless integration that you expect from KORG’s iOS apps will fit perfectly into your music making process. Great if u use Gadget, not a great investment if not.

This is a great synth, top notch as is Korgs other IPad/IPhone synth, if you have or plan on using Gadget, or using it as a stand alone in a live situation, otherwise I would say it’s a good investment, unless Korg makes it an Audio Unit like they did with Electribe Wave. Bottom line is There isn’t a future for IAA apps now. If your workflow includes Audiobus, it could still have a life line but even still, I prefer using Audio Units inside of Audiobus and I actually prefer not using a 3rd party apps to get my sounds to my Daws. If Korg actually read these reviews I hope they make this an AU because it would bring soooooo much more to the Mobile audio production platform and I’d recommend this app 100%.

No full sized keyboard button? Please turn into an auV3

Why did you guys get rid of the most important feature of this app? Which is the full sized keyboard button. The app is barely unusable with this feature, I can barely use the keyboard properly because of this. It would really mean a lot to me and others if you bring this feature back. Please turn this app into an auV3, we would appreciate it if you guys turn this into an auV3.

Adding AU to this already go to app, My production increased by 1000 once I got this app, Can’t see myself making beats on any other app as much I do Gadget, I LOVE this app more than I can explain,It helped me produce like I want to, because I make beats fast, simply because I don’t produce by instrument choice, I produce by sound, it pattern sounds together no matter the instrument, and I’m great at it, thanks to the enormous amount of sounds gadget has, I’m in sound heaven

I already own a *lot* of synth apps, including most of Korgs, but this one I couldn't say no to...and I'm glad I didn't. Very inspirational to play and sounds really great. This would be 5 stars if I could access my user patches within Gadget's companion device Montpellier...hopefully a quick patch fixes this oversight... Would also be killer if I could have a mod destination for the VCO Mod Type...I love switching between these but would be great to put an LFO to that...

I already own a *lot* of synth apps, including most of Korgs, but this one I couldn't say no to...and I'm glad I didn't. Very inspirational to play and sounds really great. This would be 5 stars if I could access my user patches within Gadget's companion device Montpellier...hopefully a quick patch fixes this oversight... Would also be killer if I could have a mod destination for the VCO Mod Type...I love switching between these but would be great to put an LFO to that...
