Marshall Gateway is a remote control and device management app for use with Marshall CODE Series amplifiers.

Connection with CODE is via Bluetooth Classic for streaming audio from your music library and Bluetooth LE (iPhone 4S or later, iPad 3rd Gen or later) for real-time control of your amplifier settings.

Gateway can function independently of CODE to create and manage presets that can be sent to CODE when connected.

What’s New

Version 1.5

Improved Bluetooth functionality and reliability. CODE now allows up to three Bluetooth devices to be paired (the three most recently paired) and will automatically re-connect to these in most recently used order.

Pretty cool but having some trouble with it

The concept is awesome and I really like what they have done here. That being said I just bought this amp today and really want to be able to use the Bluetooth feature with this app and I can’t because the app is not letting me sign into my Marshall account. I just created it and I’m also having trouble on their website also. It’s not letting me download any presets and when I log in I’m not seeing my profile or anything and it keeps asking me to register again and then says that email is already registered. Can I get some help here? Would really like start trying to download presets from your website to my phone.

Love it

So much easier than trying to fine tune through the amp itself. You can tweak the hell out of every setting. Turn things off and on easily, save and name your presets easily, sync with your amp easily. All via bluetooth. It took a coouple of reboots on my photo to get bluetooth working, but all is well now. I just recently starting using the playback feature to isolate a portion of a song in my iTunes library and slow it down to 50% speed. Awesome. One star because you don't actually own the amp that the app was specifically made for? Really?

Good idea poor execution

This app is very convenient and laid out well. When it works it’s easy enough to use. That said there is legitimately less than a 50% chance it will work. You can use it and come back an hour later and it will not connect. You can be pair in your settings but the app will not connect. Log out unpair the device as many times as you want it simply will not work. It decides when it wants to work
