I have a huge problem with sleeping through my alarms. I got this app (and the math one) to helpfully help me stop doing that. It's only been three days and instead of having an alarm set every five to ten minutes for two hours to wake up to, I've woken up on the first alarm (the motion alarm) every time and stayed awake. Unfortunately it isn't a magical alarm that takes away the sleepy feeling, but during the 60 seconds that i'm shaking my phone to stop the alarm, I become awake enough to make the decision to sit up and turn my light on. Coffee does the rest.I can't think of many cons except I wish there were more alarm sound choices. Part of my over sleeping problem comes from not hearing the alarm in the first place, which I believe happens because I get used to the alarm noises. These are high pitched enough to jolt me awake, but I have a small fear that the newness of it will fade off eventually. Hopefully this is the answer to my bad sleeping habits, and will help my managers ease their woes with me running late on opening shifts =^^= thank you!

There are a few bugs, or rather illogical tweaks that’ll have to be addressed:-The sleep enforcer: doesn’t seem to work, I was walking about 3AM and no response came-Alarm cannot tell what time it is: if not stopped, will continue to ring long after their time (like if you had an alarm at 8AM but the app wasn’t running in the background and you open it hours later, it will ring). Having a feedback for it not ring at 11PM would be nice-The alarms stack: if you have multiple alarms and slept through the initial ones, you will have to shake stop each one after another. This goes with the previous issue, where long after the time pass the alarm still rings

I’m a super heavy sleeper, so having this thing scream at me and require me to shake my phone for 30 seconds helps me actually wake up for my day. It’s really changed the way I take on my day bc I can normally count on it to wake me up. My only complaints are that if you don’t purchase the “full” app, you get bombarded with 2 minute long ads after the alarm turns off. Very annoying unfortunately. The other complaint being that sometimes the app staging up crashes or just doesn’t work like it’s supposed to. Most of the time it works well though! If they tweaked it a little then this app could be amazing and truly game changing.

why so strict on the nickname
I really like the overall concept. One minor detail is it would be a nice feature if when you hit the “don’t wake my spouse” button the alarm would stop going off as long as you’re still moving the device, stop moving the device and the alarm starts going off again and you have to hit the “don’t wake my spouse” button again. I just feel there’s a good chance I’ll still wake my spouse if it plays music every 10 seconds and I have to hit the button again. But then again it’s something that requires you to focus and actively turn off which enforces your attention on top of keeping the device moving. Anyways, I like it so far!
