Good but not too useful

I like the idea. I’ve been asking for this for a while. I can’t seem to create a community. Not sure how. No plus or add button in community section. App seems a bit laggy or low frame rate. Not as responsive as a FB messenger for example I would like to be able to show a status. Like online and a phrase like “Going to GoFest Seattle” Maybe provide some lucky eggs, star pieces or incubators to encourage people to use campfire or create an account. <15 friends out of 200 on campfire

Finally! A long-awaited feature!

Wow! Finally, an actual Pokémon go map! Since I got the game, I’ve been having too look up maps online to see my nearby pokestops and gyms, but those apps and sites usually use hacking and/or fake news. I first saw campfire on my Pokémon go screen, and knew immediately what it was! I downloaded the app a bit later, and give it an 8/10! A few suggestions though, specifically for Pokémon go: can you add regular pokestops to the map? I think it would really increase the versatility and usefulness of the app, and also help players plan routes more easily! Also, while the raid finder is cool, can you add a marker to show how many players are battling in it, and also how much time is left? And finally, which of the three teams(Mystic, Valor, or Instinct) the gym is controlled by, or if it’s blank? Thanks! -Carteboy

Don’t waste your time…

The notes accompanying the last Pokémon Go update stated all the great things that Campfire would do, so I downloaded Campfire thinking it would now work with the update installed. But, no, it’s still access limited- still can’t login into Campfire, and I have to say, this is possibly the worst feature/app rollout I’ve ever experienced.

If an app needs alpha or beta testing, just work with your users to define and perform the testing, and only present the to be tested app to the beta testers. Only after the software finishes the testing and development should you present it to the whole user community. The approach used here is frustrating to users (aka, your customers) and wastes their time.
