This app allows you to change the playback effects (speed/pitch conversion) and export (video, audio) of videos in your device. The exported video reflects the playback effects and section settings. (You can try exporting a video for free the first time. If you want to continue using it, please purchase an in-app purchase.) ================================================ [Note of using this application] This is the app for playing the video data that is included in the standard app "Photos" or "Videos". Please confirm that it contains the video data to the standard app "Photos" or "Videos" in device. If it doesn't include the video data in device, it doesn't display anything in this app. ================================================ Main features : [ Playback effects ] - Change speed (1/2 to 2x) (Extended with in-app purchase: 1/8 to 8x) - Change pitch (±1 octave) (Extended with in-app purchase: ±2 octaves) Speed and pitch can be changed independently. [ Section designation UI ] A section is designated by specifying the start and end times. Regardless of the loop playback setting, when playback reaches the end section, it returns to the start section. If loop playback is ON, loop playback is performed within the range specified in the section. [ Export video (.mp4) / audio (.m4a) ] The export destination can be selected from "storage area of this app" (accessible with the standard app "Files") or "Photos". The exported video reflects playback effects (speed/pitch) and section settings. In addition, when a video is exported, audio (audio_normal.m4a) extracted from the video is generated in "storage area of this app". (The extracted audio is in its original state, without any playback effects or section settings.) [ Other ] - Supports landscape display for the player screen. - Supports selection of background color for the player screen. I’ve been Using this app without issue and it’s been absolutely wonderful so far, all until this new update. Whenever I either extract a video, or just press the play button, it boots me out of the app, it is extremely frustrating but amazing that this app has lasted me this long without issue, hope you can fix it, I’m only giving four stars due to this sudden event, usually I’d give five.Update: I’m not sure how to explain the crashes, but they only happen when i play one video or I try rewinding while the video is still playing, thats the best I can word it. I’m actually going to give you five stars because i didn’t take in consideration on how hard you worked on this aftar reading another comment, sorry if my reply may have seemed rather harsh, that was not my intention.Last update: I am now about to update to the latest one, apparently I missed an update.

I’ve been Using this app without issue and it’s been absolutely wonderful so far, all until this new update. Conceptually, this is a good idea. It does two things and it is intuitive to use. Now, all of a sudden, after opening an MP4 stored in my camera roll, I get a black screen. I reloaded the app which helped for about one minute and then the same thing happened again. Very disappointing! Completely useless now and, although inexpensive, a waste of money if you opt for the ad-free version. UPDATE: So after emailing with the developer, and reloading the app, it seems like it is working. I do want to give it some time to make sure but this app does exactly what I need for it do. I have changed my rating to 4 stars. I would like to do another update. I found that if you limit the number of windows or apps running in the background, Nu-Movie works perfectly!! Now changing to 5 stars!!

I've been using this app for 5 or so years across two phones. Has worked phenomenally. This new update however, is quite janky. Occasionally, when I'm trying to adjust the pitch, I rewind the video a bit to hear the music again. But sometimes it either exits out the video or makes a high pitch screeching sound that forces me to close and reopen the app. This happens about once every three (If I'm lucky. A few times either happens immediately, as soon as I scroll once) minutes.Ambitious update, but I think the app was fine before. I've been using the app without issue for years without complaint which is why I believe this is just a small hiccup that will be fixed soon.
