I downloaded it for the first time, understanding that new members were being given a $5 bonus for completing a survey. I haven’t received my $5. I started the survey but got kicked out of it and it hasn’t reappeared, so I haven’t been able to receive the $5 dollar bonus. I’ve contacted support and haven’t gotten a response yet. I’m waiting because I know it sometimes take time. Having these problems makes me want to delete the app. There are many other apps to choose from but I will wait and give it a chance

Pinecone Research use to be one of my favorite survey sites to earn money. Before when I would receive emails and click on the survey link, it always worked and I was about to keep earning money each time. Since they have made changes recently, I haven’t been able to earn anything at all. When I click on the links from the emails, it says it’s loading then when it finally does it takes me to a new page that says Unfortunately you do not match the criteria for this study. Try another survey, you might be a better fit next time! It does it for every single survey. It’s the same clinking the links from emails, from the app, & logging in & clicking on the survey link from there. Just not long ago I figured I would try once more, a survey finally loaded just like it use to & I made it to the very end for it to just say Unfortunately you do not match the criteria for this study. Try another survey, you might be a better fit next time! It’s ridiculous and frustrating. I’m kinda sad I can no longer earn anything & I pretty much gave up even trying now and have used other survey sites instead.

Got an email saying Pinecone Research wanted me to use their app. Wow! So riddled with bugs and so frustrating to use. Click on a link to take you to a survey and the link just spins and spins and doesn’t take you any where. If you click on the link more than once it comes up stating you are not qualified for this survey. Then it keeps saying you have a survey available and every time you try it states you’re not eligible.Also their payment methods have become really crappy. You used to be able just get a check or the amount deposited into your PayPal account. Now they want you to get their MasterCard gift card which I have never found a place that accepts those unless you have a great amount of money on them. They never seem to work right either. Or you can have it transferred into your bank account. Why does everyone want access to my bank account?? I’m really tired of that and really don’t want yet another company having access to my bank account. Or better yet save your survey money and buy one of their gift items that you could buy way cheaper somewhere else. Yep. Sorry I think I’m done. This has become not worth it to me.

I have been using Pinecone for nearly 4 years now. I used to LOVE it. Guaranteed $3 for every successful survey you took. Ever since they switched platforms, it has been a NIGHTMARE. So many surveys it doesn’t even let me take, tells me I do not qualify or the survey is closed, without even letting me answer any qualification questions. I had a balance of points in my account that they took away with the switchover, giving me a 0 point balance. Additionally, most of the time when I AM able to actually successfully complete surveys, their website glitches and doesn’t give me my points. I just had THREE surveys in a row, I successfully completed the surveys, went through all of the ending demographic questions, the EXACT same type of surveys I have been taking for FOUR YEARS. So I know how these surveys work. I know that once I answer the “how many members of your household in each demographic” question, I ALWAYS get credit. For THREE surveys in a row, their website glitched, and instead of giving me my credit, it brought me back to the page that makes it look like they are looking for a survey for me, despite the fact that I just FINISHED a survey, and then it tells me that I do not qualify. But I don’t need to qualify for a new survey, I just took a survey!!!! Three in a row now, not to mention a couple previously as well. And when you reach out to their support, they are not helpful at all. They tell you you’re out of luck, and their system claims you were not eligible, despite having successfully already taken the survey you’re supposedly not eligible for. Every single other survey platform I use makes it right. When it’s THEIR system that messes up, and you did everything right out your end, they always override the system and pay out. Not Pinecone. They are taking your opinions and feedback, but not paying out.
