What a delightful evening. Such a socially freeing feeling to know that the people you are getting to know have every intention of getting to know you too. It’s like being at a great wedding, except better - no ceremonial distractions to halt the conversation.

I absolutely recommend going to the “Last Drink” location afterwards as well - you get to roll with your crew for the evening and meet other TimeLeft adopters/attempters who experienced their own dinner just as you did. Then the groups mesh, entangle, entwine - every soul out with a friendly face and good time on their mind.

I’ll let you know if my opinion changes, but right now I can’t recommend this enough.

They tell you the morning of your dinner (Wednesday a workday) that they have scheduled you for a dinner that is 1 hour away from where I live. In Paris, the only question they ask you regarding location is Rive Droite or Rive Gauche. Instead, they should ask what Arrondissement you’re in and organize some thing that makes more sense. They literally organized a dinner on the polar opposite side of the city having to travel 1 hour back to my home after dinner or drinks is too late when I have to work the next day, not to mention certain metro lines make me uncomfortable after a certain hour. The support is really slow. I messaged them on WhatsApp during the hours they say they work. No one really answers. Email takes at least a day so if you find out the place, you are having dinner and you have a question that same day forget it you will never get help. The phone number they provide no one answers, they just tell you to message them. If you find out, the restaurant is too far away and you cancel they say they will not tolerate more than two of those in a month you’re supposed to cancel on Monday, but you don’t find out the restaurant is one hour away until the morning of the dinner. Asking peoples astrological sign is bizarre. The idea is good, but they should do things in a way that makes more sense and they should also provide more support that is responsive in a timely fashion, especially the day of the dinner. Disappointing.

The ability to meet new people in a digital age feels harder and harder. Especially as we work from home and everyone looks "busy" on their phone waiting for service or other places that once could've sparked connection.

Being able to meet with strangers over dinner opened a new avenue allowing us to learn more about a group of people and dive deeper into each others lives than attempting to meet one friend at a time over an app or at a party. The connections started to sprout fast and peoples personalities started to shine through so quickly, it almost made me wonder why I had never sat down for dinner with random strangers a thousand wednesdays ago.
