The app allows you to impose a limit on the maximum volume of the iPhone / iPad. Do you have a child who always plays video at full blast? This is not a problem anymore! From today, YOU control your iPhone/iPad's speaker volume, not your child! Volume Limit is the only parental volume manager that works with iOS 12! The app works by monitoring the background noise. In loud spaces, the app allows to increase the volume limit a little bit above the set value. In quiet rooms, it sticks with defined value. The app requires access to a microphone. The app can work in the background. The application has been specially designed for parents of children with Autism Spectrum, Asperger, Down Syndrome & other development delays or sensory issues.

I was so excited to find this app, since my daughter with special needs turns everything to full volume. I paid for the pro version, despite the fact that she could still turn it up full blast before the volume control kicked in. It has to be purchased for multiple devices, which seems unfair, but I did it anyway. Now it doesn’t work at all. It resets constantly even though it’s set to 25%. Every hour or so, I have to close it out, go back in, reset it with the passcode, and hope for the best. I wish there was a way to “set it and forget it” so I didn’t have to keep doing it manually. I’ve paid $10 for this app on two devices and still am not happy with this its delivery.

This app is so very much needed for my special needs son who constantly blasts the volume on his iPad at 100% and holds it directly up to his ear. I’m forever asking him to turn it back down and taking the device away for periods of time to get him to stop. I was beyond excited to find this app to help protect his hearing and paid for the premium version so that hopefully it would be constantly on. However, it stops working seemingly within an hour or two of turning it on even though the app is still up and running in the background and says it’s on. I also think it doesn’t work with some apps altogether. I’m also concerned that if he wants to he can simply exit the volume control app to turn it off even though I’ve password protected it so that he can’t turn it off. Very frustrating. Can you please please fix the issue? This is so much needed.

In fact, I had contacted apple for a solution months ago, even had a case number - but was very disappointed by their response in doing nothing. This app has been a HUGE blessing. It has reduced stress or the rest of the family.A special note: Marcin, the app developer has been wonderful. His communication and clear direction on enabling across multiple devices has been a breath of fresh customer service air. Thank goodness for people like you :-)

Cannot restore my purchase

Bought this years ago and it works for the most part, sometimes it doesn’t so I have go in and restart it and this irritates my grandson because he’s autistic. I think he learned the pw so I went in the app to change it and the next day it’s telling me that I don’t have the pro version anymore and when I click the restore purchase button nothing happens!Update: I deleted and reinstalled it and it seems to be restored to pro version. Updated to 4 stars from 2, will monitor it to see if it’s any better or worse.
