The BEST mystery game for a mobile device
This game isn’t too hard and isn’t too easy either. They use a variety of puzzles that usually don’t repeat.
The best thing I would have to say is where the story line takes you through each puzzle.
Everything is perfect from the music (not annoying) that is still appropriate for a detective game, the illustrations being not too childish and very detailed but not overcomplicated, and even the advertisements was very appropriate. They mostly advertise their own games that are great as well and the others that dont seem relevant you can always skip.
The fact that it’s free for such a good game is great! Definitely give this one a go I 100% recommend it.
I’m obsessed
I genuinely love these games so much, I play them most days.
So good if you want to zone out after a big day, and it’s nice that it makes you think and fuels your brain to think outside the box
I really hope whoever makes these keeps releasing new ones, I’m almost out of games to play and I don’t know what I’m going to do with that many hours of free time hahaha
Another great murder mystery by HG!
This was the second entry I played featuring Kate Grey and I enjoyed it, I wasn’t disappointed. The first one I played was Murder Manor and upon finding out there were more, I was stoked.
I basically have the same critique as I did with MM - the tutorial at the start is easy to follow, there’s not too much of a learning curve as it’s more about your critical thinking and problem solving skills, as it should be!
I think it could have been a little longer and more in-depth with the plot and characters, but maybe that’s just me? The main thing that annoyed me was that ridiculous puzzle where you have to guess what number goes where via trial and error...if I was unable to skip, TBH, I would have just deleted the game because that particular one is simply more effort to decode than it’s worth.
I also dislike the bit at the end where you have to trace using the mirror, that is also more effort than it’s worth doing. Other than that, I enjoyed it for the most part and hope Haiku Games continues making more games like this with Kate Grey.
