Lost Useful Features
The upgrade was needed but has come at the cost of the previous version’s much enjoyed features of account reordering and background image selection (as Bank First don’t allow members to custom name their account, like other institutions do, this was closest we could get). I can see that I’m not the only one by looking at the other reviews.
Also agree that the two pop ups each time I open the app back up to say session expired and another pop up to say logged out, even just the one would be more than enough.
Ordering and identifying accounts
Previously it was simple to identify account by ordering them and assigning images. This doesn’t seem to be an option anymore - and the account tiles are wider, so it’s not possible to see more than three accounts without scrolling. Please bring back the user-managed account display options! Also, preferably showing all accounts as the first click would be ideal (now this involves extra clicks: login >(unnecessary, should be automatic), then > accounts.
A year between updates isn’t good enough!
There should be regular updates and improvements to an app, not one big change every couple of years. It’s clear from the reviews that the last update still has a lot of issues. Still waiting to be able to rearrange my accounts and give them names? Every other bank app I’ve ever used has had this as an easy option. This app isn’t user friendly, there are so many unnecessary steps to do anything.
