Description

The official iPhone App for CENTRAL COAST TAXIS on the NSW Central Coast.

Enables registered users to book HIGH PRIORITY TAXIS direct through Central Coast Taxi's dispatch system.

Uses the iPhone’s built-in GPS to determine your pickup point. Fine-tune your pick-up point further using the iPhone’s on-screen map. (Requires your device to have a clear view of the sky)

ENTER ADDRESS / ENTER PLACE OF INTEREST – enables you to manually enter your pick-up location by tapping direct into Central Coast Taxis’ very own street directory / places of interest.

LIVE TRACKING – shows your assigned Central Coast Taxi homing in to collect you.

FARE ESTIMATES – after entering pick-up and destination details, click ESTIMATE FARE for an approximation of the journey price (please note this is a guide only and not a quotation)

FAVOURITE LOCATIONS – Personalise your favourites list with all your regular pick-up points for easy 1-click entry.

BOOKING HISTORY – Details all your previous booking to assist with after-sales enquiries.

The Central Coast Taxis iPhone App also works in conjunction with the Central Coast Taxis Web Booker database. If you are already an existing Central Coast Taxis Web Booker customer there is no need to re-register. Linked to your Web Booker account the iPhone App gives you access to your booking history & favourite locations from your Web Booker account.

App needs and overhaul

One of the worst apps I have ever used. Not user friendly - incorrectly determined pick-up location; hard to adjust to right pickup. Said 4 mins for pick up - still waiting after 30 mins; didn’t ask for a destination. Wanted my credit card details before I could go further. No updates on pick up time.

Don't download this app

10 minutes before pickup, status of cab from was changed from pending to cancelled, and it never showed up! Rang CC Taxis and they said it was on the way. I waited a bit longer and It still didn't arrive! They have lost my business forever. 0 star rating

Terrible interface

App has option to select a cab model, but no option to blacklist models. My mother is incapable of getting into a Maxi even with the support steps, and she had to make an actual call in order to have her blacklist noted.
