Stutravel ,

Does the job pretty well

It works and works quickly and I've been using it for years. Occasional glitches but generally easy to overcome. It is quite simple and intuitive to use

The Robabob ,

Does the job but slowly and crashes if the batch files are too large

The new iPhone records 4k at 60fps by default which means a 1hr video is 30Gb in size. I have 20 recordings, of presentations done by myself and 5 other students, recorded for our studies in 4k that have to be submitted for assessment. To compress down these recordings to anything usable/storable/uploadable has literally taken days with multiple crashes requiring restarting, re-adding the batches and only processing one file at a time. There is no way to cue batches to process one at a time either or any notification that a batch has finished or failed or not responding/frozen and restart required. It would be handy to have an approximate file size calculator for the outputted file when choosing the format type before sending the batch. When a compression does finish however the outputted files work great!

Attention Required - Product needs to be updated

I've been using this product for 10years. Over the past couple of years, I thought my Mac was the problem with compression so I updated to the latest. Yet, the compression continues to take just as long. What the APP says it will do, it does not. It isn't sharing the work load accross the CPU or GPU when I encode through HVEC. It crashes within 20min of starting a compression that isn't H264. For software wanting to compete with Adobe, Apple, this has been let go to die. Sad :(
