Forced to use this app after removal “my somfy”

This app is the only way to access the somfy rts device after the decommissioning of the old hardware. It is such a backwards step from the other somfy app.

Inability to put a text title on any of the FIXED icons means that each time someone is it if they don’t automatically remember what it does they need to edit the profile everytime.

So them you try and use the ambience option to create a custom one and it allows a name but doesn’t actually display it! Arrrg!

Also the the timed programming window is low and upper sections are hidden outside of the iPhone safe areas. Ie the iPhone notch hides half the top text area.

Somfy hardware is good but super poor experience when coupled with the app.

It really needs aredo. If the app devs tried to use it themselves on a real device they’d quickly see why it’s just such a pain to use.

Worst designed app ever

This app and it’s UX is horrible designed. Feels like a 2008 website compressed in an 2021 app. Their app development team might need to get some more training in on how to design an app in 2021.
Edit: I don’t want their stupid 4 scenarios on the first screen. I want to add and create my own scenarios and have more than 4 and want them on the first screen. And why are the blinds at the bottom? So difficult to tap them especially when the stop button covers it. Also things onthe top of the screen can’t be seen on an iPhone as they are often covered. Just such a stupid useless set up. It is also not fully integrated with google home, you can only use voice command but not tap a button to close and open (like for Hue bulbs or other integrated devices). Please give this whole app an overhaul! It’s horrible and if I would have know I would have never went with somfy ever!!! how dare you releasing such an horrible app in 2021!!!! Yuk!

Terrible software

Firstly, god setting these up is hurrendous you will have “forgotten” your password more times than you could think! Even when it works on their website and when you reset it! It happens again! And even resting is shocking as it keeps coming back with errors!
The access to the app itself is bad enough and makes it completely unusable and I wish I had an alternative for my blinds.
But when you don’t “forget” your password and your actually aloud in, the apps shocking, you have these 4 modes on the home screen but you should be able to modify these to do whatever you like (change the buttons) I just want a simple interface where it has “favorites up” “favorites down” and “all up” and “all down” but really should be able to customize, I know there’s the scenes but a moon or a baseball don’t really indicate up for me??

Horrible go with another brand if it’s not too late for you!
