Description
What is Curby?
Curby is a fun, secure and rewarding collection solution that helps you to collect new recyclables from your home keeping it out of landfill.
The process is simple: collect authorised materials in your CurbyBag and, once it’s full, tie the bag tightly and attach a CurbyTag. Scan the QR code on the Bag and then put the tagged bag inside your regular yellow lid recycling bin for collection.
The materials collected through Curby will become a valuable resource for use in manufacturing other products, chemical recycling and energy production.
After a successful trial with 2,500+ households, we are now rolling out the Curby Program to 1M Australians.
Anyone in Australia is welcome to register a future interest to join the Curby program.

Streamlining needed
Please streamline the app for those of us who’ve used it since the beginning. We don’t need multiple screens of instructions every single time. Just make the camera function on the home page. Oh, and either get rid of the points, or do something about actually using them in a meaningful way. Otherwise it’s just, erm…..pointless.
Wouldn’t use if I had a choice.
This is a very clunky app. If I weren’t committed to trying to keep soft plastic out of my rubbish I wouldn’t use it. There’s a question facility in the app but no one bothers to answer questions so it’s pointless. Every time you use it you have to work through pages of information and instructions even if you have been using the app for ages. There’s a pointless point system not related to anything and the app can suddenly make you reregister even if you are an established user. Wish they would introduce an express scanning system. If they did I could put up with the other pointless bits.
Cool tool for a cool rule
Thank you for making recycling fun! Now we even compete who will have the honor of giving Curby a ride/putting the yellow bin to the road (reminders help as well!🙏😜😂). I especially enjoy the fact that in their rush to win my family send all the points to the one who registered the app -that is me 🎉🥳🤩. Pity they have figured it out already, but meanwhile I am the leader 😂
