Flexible and easy to use

So simple to use and as an employer I can access the roster, update it and find replacements at the click of a button from anywhere in the world. My employees say they love it as they can see exactly when they are working, see changes as they are published and grab a free shift if it comes up.
Different account levels are great as I only pay for what services I need.
24/7 support and helpful friendly staff too!

I am reviewing from both perspectives as we installed Deputy into our restaurant of 30 staff. What great business efficiency, cost savings, rostering, time recording & payroll even better at LOW cost. BUT it does have one flaw (we have recorded this with Deputy) the system allows staff to manually adjust the break time so this corrupts the integrity of the time recording and can cost businesses money so big error with design. Other than that fabulous particularly as it interfaces so easily and reliably with Xero.
Later after selling business I moved to a job that coincidentally used Deputy and loved it from a staff perspective. I would like to see them enable Unavailability edits eg deletions to be done on a phone (as can be created) rather than having to log on to a PC quiet inconvenient at times.
As a previous admin systems specialist I strongly recommend this App BUT it still has room for improvement, but Deputy very responsive to ideas and helping with problems.

Good app barring significant flaw

I really like this app. But there is one really significant UX issue. I’m casually employed across 7 workplaces (not unusual if you work in events) so my availabilities can get quite complicated especially during busy seasons. 3 out of those 7 jobs use Deputy. I find it really really annoying that I have to manually enter unavailability for each workplace on Deputy. That’s actual insanity. I should not come up as completely available if I’m booked somewhere else or I’ve already put myself down as unavailable somewhere because of a work commitment somewhere that doesn’t use Deputy.

Please please please fix this. At the very least give me the option to import from the other workplaces so I don’t have to enter the exact same information manually into this app three times.
