Honestly, this is the BEST self-care app I’ve ever used!! I’ve tried several habit tracking and self-care apps before, but they always felt boring, inflexible, and stress-inducing. But Finch is like a GAME CHANGER! It’s so fun, so encouraging, and genuinely useful. I’ve never felt guilt or pressure from it, which is rare. Finch offers practical tools I can easily use even when I’m unmotivated and down. It’s so straightforward and accessible. Cute but clean. I really appreciate these features on my bad days when I experience executive dysfunction because of stress and ADHD. In Finch, I never feel like I have to make an extra effort to “decide” what tools to use when I need them the most. I can tell that the team behind this knows what they’re doing. It has so many helpful features without feeling redundant at all. There are plenty of options and customisable features, but it never feels overwhelming like the other apps I’ve used, which often felt like they were designed for people with more willpower than I actually have (especially when I’m already struggling, which is why I need the app in the first place). Everything in Finch just feels right. I’ve been using Finch every day for almost a month now, and I’m still feeling positive, still genuinely willing to keep using it, and not bored. I really really love it.

This app is a great tool to use! It can be a prompt for easy to achieve self care on the heavy days, a guide to steer thinking into better paths when the thoughts are darkly swirling, your own personal cheerleader during foggy days, a motivator to achieve reachable goals on the ok days, a motivator to achieve reachable goals on the good days or anything in between. It has great tips for energy boosting that are SOOO simple, and a gentle way to start along better mobility and fitness should you wish. It help connect you with community and helps refocus when you’re stuck. I’ve loved the areas for journaling -the questions have helped pinpoint many difficulties I’ve been perplexed anout so I can have clarity and see the way forward. And all with a cute little buddy to do it with! I NEVER thought an app could be the platform for all this- I’m a technophobic! I’ve only used the free part of the app, haven’t signed up for the extra features as I can’t afford it. But after 16 days it’s helped me see that I CAN do stuff, and things aren’t as bleak as they seem; my mood has lifted and I can get out of bed in the morning with expectancy instead of desperation and blackness. Well done, Finch App Team!

A bunch of my friends (we're all neurodivergent in some form, and all 21+) have difficulty maintaining daily habits and getting even small stuff done without motivation. We've all found since using Finch that our general motivation is higher!! It has so many useful features and even the free version has so much it's super usable even without the paid content, which just seems like some extensions on the already wide capabilities it offers. It's cute, you can add your friends in order to help them out and send cute little acts of kindness, it has some really handy tools like soundscapes, stretching and breathing exercises, and depression/anxiety tracking, and it's super intuitive to use, so even though I've only been using it a few days, I can see myself using it far into the future!! The ability to block certain tags is super handy to keep triggering suggestions out also, it's not something you see often, and it's not super demanding and annoying like a lot of habit tracking apps <3TLDR: great, easy app, with heaps of free content and really hard working devs. Stuff is constantly in the works and it's all useful features! Sensitive to topics other tracking apps aren't, and really handy with general mental health tools.
