I’m a grandmother and knowing that I can check in and make sure everything is ok with my child and grandchild means the world to me. The playback system is great so I know if they’ve had a good sleep, and I can adjust my level of support accordingly. Occasionally, very rarely, I don’t get a live feed, but usually after a couple of minutes, it’s back to normal.

This is the most disappointing system. The camera constantly goes offline from this remote app meaning you can’t check on your baby which is so unsafe and it’s so unreliable. Allegedly the free version allows you and your partner (two devices) to be able to view the system and after a whole night of the remote app not being able to access the camera despite it sitting next to the router, now it’s kicked me out saying more than two devices are connected when there definitely isn’t. The sound quality is terrible I couldn’t even hear my baby cry on the monitor unless I held it up to my ear. It doesn’t pick up and notify you when she is awake and moving it only picks up when we go into her crib to get her. Husband has issued a ticket with the company and not surprisingly has been no communications back to see what the problem is. Worst.

I’ve been using this app for over 12 months and the nonexistent improvements made in that time have been disappointing to say the least. Settings are constantly turning themselves off and on. Camera is constantly “unavailable” on the app but perfectly available on the parenting unit. Notifications decide when and if they will actually decide to alert you of anything your baby is doing. I have never once had a sleep diary actually record when I need it because magically the setting keeps switching itself off. My partner has never been able to connect to the app despite paying for a useless subscription for 12+ months. Honestly wish I had bought a completely different baby monitor. Oricom need to hire some new app developers. I’m surprised there isn’t more complaints on here in regards to a paid subscription that isn’t being provided.
