Can I get humming?

To be approved for humm you need to:
• Be 18 years or older
• Have a permanent job of 20+ hours per week or are on an aged or veteran’s pension
• Meet our credit assessment criteria
• Be a permanent resident in Australia, and
• Have a valid mobile number

Convenience Without Credit Cards!

I’ve relished the option to split repayments on consumer purchases via Humm and other apps ever since these services became avaliable.
It makes the hassle of saving and lay-bys a thing of the past, especially since you can take the good straight away and make the payments later. That means I can easily stay well within my budget and don’t fall into a dangerous credit card trap.
I like the great range of vendors available on Humm; although the app loses a star in my rating because of it’s somewhat tricky interface and purchasing process (i.e. questionnaires and inability for multiple simultaneous contracts with same vendor). I’d also like to see an easier product category search option.
That being said, the service is great and I love the freedom and flexibility it gives me now in shopping for the things I need.

I sell and use humm

I use humm as both a personal and business tool. I’ve been using it at my business for 3yrs and I’ve never had a customer complain about not being able to make payments or being charged random fees. Personally it’s a great way to split a large payment into smaller more affordable amounts. Of course I would never recommend a financial payment option if I believe someone can not afford repayments, but if your looking for a way to get a few things done or buy a few things at once (such as furnishing a house, upgrading your car, etc) then humm is definitely something to consider. You can break it up to periods that best suit you, which is great as I know I’ll have it deducted after I get my pay slip.

As Avery long term customer of Certegy I recently required to log on, only to see we the CUSTOMER needed to down load this app HUMM log back in. Only to find I can’t make an extra payment the app crashes the customer service number when pressing “9” doesn’t work.
As per previous reviewer no one advise of any changes nor did they let us the customer know of a new app.
Disgraceful credit company who don’t look after existing customers. The app isn’t user friendly doesn’t work but they are quick to sell promote and charge you a fee. I wanted to pay April and Mays account to avoid the monthly fee but when pressing the pay button it crashes. I even tried to pay my entire account off and still crashes.

Hi @scrive. We’re aware of issues with existing Ezipay customers causing the App to crash. There was an app update on 29 April to version 1.1.1 and data fixes on 1 May. If you don’t have a valid debit or credit card linked to your account (MasterCard or Visa) you will be prompted to add one when you make a payment. Can you please try again and let us know if you’re still having any issues at - please give your name, mobile number and ABY-HUMM in the subject line. Thanks.

We're really sorry for your experience. We were aware of an issue with the App crashing which has now been fixed over the weekend. You can now make single and multiple payments, as well as pay off your entire purchase plan in advance. You'll need to update your iOS app to the latest version 1.1.

We soft-launched the product without mass communications to existing customers so we can iron out issues like this. We acknowledge this is not ideal for you and we are sorry for the poor experience.
