Eve is a great tracker that definitely does it’s job and there is a great loving and accepting community that use it. The only feedback I could give is that the logging of discharge options are small. There should be options for dry, sticky, watery, egg white and creamy and the amount rather than just white, clear or spotting. Also, it would be great if there was a way to see a pattern of moods in one graph, rather than a graph for each cycle, so that you can visually see at what time of your cycle you are most emotional (for example) without having to scroll through all the graphs of every cycle. But other than these two improvements I can propose, it is a very good app.

It allows you to track your periods and moods. It has bits of information and basic articles/quizzes. It’s not flashy but it does the job with the free version, I haven’t gained any insights as such, but I know when my period is due half the time. Only downside is, you save the date your period ended then two weeks later it unsaves without fail and looks like you’ve had your period all month. At first I thought I hadn’t saved the end date and that I was going mad but then I started screen shotting it completed and it is definitely the app glitching so I’m not sure what’s happening there and whether that stuffs up the cycle phases. Not ideal.

Updated review! Things went well after my account issues were sorted (heck, would have given it 5 stars), but I have found the app to be not very user friendly since it became Glow Eve. I need to regularly adjust the calendar due to my cycle being a bit over the place (perimenopause, amirite?), and I find the UI to be clunky and confusing to get into the calendar. It needs it’s own button.Also need to add hormone support for women with perimenopause in the shop if you can find a supplier. There’s not a lot out there so having another place to buy it from would be great!

Have been using this app since it used to be called Ruby years ago - which honestly was the best version compared to all the newer updates. The quizzes were fun at first but have not been refreshed, and there seems to be a nice community within the app. However the app UI has been increasingly frustrating to use with all the pop-ups to subscribe, annoying to navigate when I just want to use the period calendar. This latest update with the less aesthetically pleasing design (and constant pushing reminders to subscribe) has been the last straw for me. I finally deleted this app and moved on to the native Apple health menstrual tracking for a peaceful user experience.
