Works ok but not very practical
We have our whole house run with this app and it works well. However it’s not very practical to use. When you run a big house with switches the list becomes so long that you constantly need to scroll up and down to reach different switches. The list is set alphabetically and no other options like sort by most used. Also if you are not the main user (I’m a secondary user) you cannot create groups and scenes. All this makes the use very limited and not practical.
I have a few practical suggestions to make the display more customisable to let the user choose the display type.
1. Instead of a long list, design the display as a grid with let’s say 3 squares per line. It will eliminate the constant scrolling.
2. add a “sort by” option to let the user customise the display.
3. allow secondary users to set up their own display, groups, scenes etc.

I bought a fair number of these devices. And certainly some of them are very good. But the reality is that eWeLink do not listen to their customers and some devices are barely useable,- notably the door and movement sensors, because they don’t work with ifttt or other gateways/devices.
Today, when I logged in it told me I had to reconnect to ifttt. Ok. Then it said I have to upgrade to advanced account. But there is no facility to do that and besides I already paid for access to ifttt when I bought the devices that specified ifttt as a feature.
This company has lost their way and I am working to replace all their devices. Watch eBay for cheap items coming soon.
DST?????
Daylight Savings. Seriously is it too hard to implement or add in a setting to switch from normal & DSL? Just because US don’t have DST anymore, doesn’t mean other countries don’t support it either 🤷🏽♂️ We still have times that switch too & from DST twice a year (Before Winter we go forward 1 hour, Before Summer we go back 1 hour)Every time we start & end DST I experience the same pathetic issues 😤
Example: Because there’s no setting in the app to switch between DST on/off, I have to manually change the time. Not a problem BUT here’s the interesting thing! This happens EVERY time!
I set a scheduled timer to switch off at 1am the app automatically saves it at 2am, 4am it automatically changes to 3am 🙄 Anyway that’s not the huge issue, I try to set at 2am so it can automatically revert to 1am but I can’t even do that. It won’t let me select 2am, it just slides to 3am the moment I let go of the scroller. Eventually after a few days that I’ve deleted that scheduled entry it does work as normal again but this is Absolutely ridiculous!
Now looking into other smart switches, ripping out all of the EWeLink switches as it causes me nothing but stress & anxiety 😟👎🏽👎🏽
