Only gives basic info
The app needs more functions like being able to change settings. As for myself I would like to change my batteries between 10am and 2pm on most days. On cloudy days I would like to charge the batteries all day. And it would be nice to be able to send extra battery power back to the grid from time to time to make the most of the feed in tariff
Some times the back up power doesn’t kick in = no power no Internet no app connection
Does the job
Despite the negative reviews this app works really well for me. It reliably tracks and records solar power generation which is the main point of the app. While a couple of the gimmicky features like how many trees you've saved/litres of CO2 saved seem to be broken you can estimate this yourself if you really care.
I'd really love to see how much energy I consume vs how much I export to the grid but understand that this is an advanced feature not supported by my inverter. Really happy with the inverter and app so far. Truely excellent value for money.
Does everything without problems!
Faultless! I had one issue after a loss of grid power and the wifi did not reconnect. I looked up the issue, watched the video, pressed the reset button on the data logger and it reconnected.
I can monitor the outputs, switch between plant and other screens, pull down to update info and it does it all without delay. Very happy with the app.
