Good App but some bugs

I changed my review. Good app to use. But had problems with some draft pay runs not able to be marked as paid (that means not able to be submitted to ATO) due to Journal not balance problem. Eventually solution found thanks to the chat support. But it was frustrated as a user to stuck for days without knowing what’s happening. Developer please sort out this ‘bug’ so we don’t have to waste time waiting on the computer. When things are working it is a good app.

Support is slow and far from with any care

Loaded this app as the previous STP app said to do so “as it was being retired” however after doing so in readiness for first pay period just days into July I noticed there did not seem to be a transition setup to push all the existing data across. As a result the ato would not take on a new software ID while the STP app was still registered. Why the hell would you ask someone to adopt an app with no process in place or to follow. In the end (as I was working blind), I ended up registering the new software with a new branch number. We are now late August and finally after a month and hours of wasting my time with STP submissions, re-submissions, emails, chats etc etc and dealing with the lack support it is finally fixed. Saying the experience has been frustrating is an understatement.

Can’t get it to work

I’ve been trying for almost an hour to migrate my account over from the previous app and nothing is working. It won’t accept my previous account login (I can get in but face a page that won’t take me any further & says my account already exists or something along those lines). Tried setting up a new company & that doesn’t work either. 🙁After numerous messages to Reckon community I finally got a detailed response with instructions (had to use a desktop computer to set it up before I could use the app). It’s all okay now although I’m yet to do my first pay. I’m not going to increase my star rating as the migration should not have been such a drama and as I haven’t actually used Payroll I’m not in a position to rate it.

Great app but…

Love the app. Works great and it’s easy to use and make adjustments for each week if needed. Only one problem, you can’t put in the date of casual workers on today’s date, you have to change the date to another day and then go back and change it to today’s date. Does that make sense? It’s only a small hiccup but a fix would be appreciated
