Slower to load photos on my iPad Pro than the other app I have. Lovely job of photos at low iso but the noise reduction is weird on higher iso photos and doesn’t seem to work well for me. The styles I have on desktop transferred well and are easier to use stacking well on top of each other than the other editing app I have. I don’t like that there is no option to flag favourites as I prefer this to star option. There is no folder that I can see for edited versus unedited which is very useful and most of all I dislike that there is no option on the main page to display just the edited version instead of the greyed out original on top of the edit which looks strange when you have charged orientation. Needs some more advanced options. Lastly why no option to purchase outright. Cancelled my subscription already simply not good enough to keep an ongoing subscription maybe next year.

Import took a long time to read photos on my card. No Fujifilm simulations even though I shoot raw. At this stage I won’t be keeping the app on my iPad.

Another corporation forcing their upgrades on you

After paying for use for a long time, and using little, o changed my card info and then the app needed an update, after update the a;p forced me, or tricked me into a differnt subscription, $33pm v $7.50 it would not let me out of the trap of upgrading and I needed to send photos to an abc television show about me done by a famous photographic journalist, I can’t access images and can’t get into my account because some geek decided to railroad the update path to upgrade in an evil twist. Guys, make it a different version. Let me make a choice via an email ad, etc, don’t force it one me. Evil begins by forcing your will on another. As is the case in modern life, a program or algorithm does the same job. ‘I’m sorry Dave, but yiu can’t come in” capture one has achieved dystopia, in on search for the ultimate generic client base, with more money than brains. Get real capture one. You have lost a customer.

Better, but the latest update 2.5.0 broke something

I used this in January 2024 and now again in July. A lot of bugs have been fixed, but it still does not support layers and the feature set is much smaller than Lightroom . The latest update 2.5.0 has broken importing of files (OM1 raw files) either from an SD card or a folder on the iPad. The app says 3 or 4 of about 250 files were imported, r3 were skipped. I wish I could go back to 2.4.6 but there does not seem to be a way to do this.
