Perfect for A7siii users
Great app overall with amazing features. Works perfect on my A7siii however doesn’t seem to work at all with my a7iii but based off what I’ve read it was developed around the a7siii.
Whilst the app is great I find it isn’t usable when using on my car rig as the connection consistently cuts out and has trouble reconnecting.
Works well with Sony FX30
I haven’t owned a camera monitor before so I can’t make a direct comparison. But from a feature comparison this app gives you more than most of the current ones from my research. The EL Zone is especially hard to find.
For a one-time purchase it’s an extremely budget way to get into trying all the different tools for a camera monitor. Is it better than a mid-budget dedicated camera monitor, probably not, but it’s at least 10x cheaper.
If you’re on the fence just give the free version a test with your camera, and pay the small one-time purchase to try all the tools, at the very least to support the developer for making a great affordable tool.
Extremely impressed with this.
I bought the pro upgrade and loading up my phantom luts was as easy as airdropping the file from my Mac. Sat down to film a talking head of myself for work the other day and controlled all my settings without even having to leave my seat, and dialled in a perfectly exposed image.
There is a very small latency, maybe half a second maximum. The video feed will drop frames from time to time but nothing substantial that couldn’t be improved with updates.
Very happy as an FX3 user with this to complete the package.
