Amazing app and great customer service!

AppBlock is the best and most effective app blocking app I have used yet. While it offers a subscription, it allows you to block apps as often as you want for as long as you want, unlike many others I have tried. It also doesn’t interfere with wifi and connection which I have found to be an issue with other apps too. I thought strict mode wasn’t working (turned out to be me not reading the instructions properly) so I emailed the feedback and help line and spoke to Luke who was extremely friendly and helpful and helped me solve my issue very quickly. Overall my experience with app block has been great and it is one of the best app blocking apps available. I highly recommend it to anyone with a social media addiction like myself!

old version was better?

I remember having this app downloaded a couple years ago when i was in school, it was free then but more efficient. I liked how when I tried to open an app, it was literally blocked as in I couldnt access or view the app whatsoever and an app blocker message came up reminding me its blocked. I found this a lot more compelling versus the way it functions now by cutting off the internet? I can still view the app just cant use it, and I dont find it as useful or effective as the past version of app blocker. it just feels pointless and ineffective sorry. I wish I could use the app the old way I remember using it, i actually stopped feeling addicted to using apps and it reduced my screentime a lot. I wouldnt mind paying for premium if it worked how it use to because that was actually worthy, u had a product that worked, but now I really dont see the point because it doesn't literally block the app, just makes it unusable and gives me a notification that says it's unusable. just doesnt work for me, but the old system where the app blocker message popped up and i couldnt view the app at all ACTUALLY worked. THAT was a good product. i dont understand the change, its diminished the quality

Hi, We only ran on Android in the past, and Apple, unfortunately, has many restrictions in place, limiting what we can and cannot do. However, they recently made a big change, and starting with the next update - AppBlock 2.0 running on iOS 16 - you'll be able to block apps entirely! And some other cool new features. Know that we work as hard as we can to find ways around the limitations and will keep adding functionalities that you know and love from Android as well as new features, as it becomes possible. Best use of my money ever

Fantastic app even in its free mode. I pay for unlimited strict mode, so I can’t change my blocking settings no matter how hard I try. Genuinely life changing. Limited my social media to 3 x 5m opens per day, so 15m max. Set a strict timer for 30 days, got AppBlock on my other devices including my laptop, and ever since I’ve only ever spent 15m a day. After a little while my habits changed and I don’t feel the desire to scroll anyway. NOTE TO DEVELOPER: I think allowing different schedules to each have a strict mode is better than one overall strict mode. Sometimes I want to strictly block an app indefinitely if I feel it’s harmful to me, but others I need to strictly block for a short time, eg a few hours of studying or working. Having separate strict modes would work well.

This app is my favourite because of one simple feature, and that is I can choose when the limits start. All the other screen limit apps just go via a timer and it’s usually interrupting something you are doing and you end up needing to bypass it and then it becomes a habit. With this app I mentally commit to having a break and turn it on when it suits me and it’s much easier to stick to when it doesn’t randomly shut you out because you’ve reach your curfew. Though it also has those features if you want those. I’m happy to pay the small monthly free as it saves me lots of time. I’ve tried a couple of other apps and find this one most intuitive
