Not a good app at all. Basic functionality like viewing the daily handicap of friends is convoluted. It isn't designed to work without location services enabled, which is a joke. Privacy must be a new concept to the designers. Hangs on each new page load trying to get the location even though I explicitly deny it access. Golf club search for daily handicap is completely broken. Can't find my club even though others can because, yep location services. Why bother having a search if you insist on using location? It makes no sense. The less said about the initial onboarding process the better. I could go on, but suffice to say a massive step backwards with no sign of improvement on the horizon.

I’d love to have a discussion with the executive leadership team of Golf Australia that decided this was an idea. There clearly isn’t one product person among them. The new app definitely has not been load tested (or had any testing for that matter). This is a huge step backwards to something that was never broken in the first place. If they don’t release som major UI and UX upgrades in the next few days and weeks they are cooked. I hope they read these reviews

This is bad, the palette and colour tones are too pastel. So for a typical red/green colour blind male, it’s almost impossible to see which round is a flag. It might be obvious but not to me, how can I filter my last 20 rounds, a simple counter or a bold contrasting colour line would help. It used to be simple and easy to go into the app and see what’s happening, now it’s just too hard to navigate and I couldn’t be bothered. It’s just bad, they need to think of the target audience this app should be designed for and what they want.

The previous version was far from perfect but a lot more functional than this 'upgrade'. I used to use the groups function to track Pennant teams golflink and hcp. I could sort a group by hcp and see all the info I needed in one screen. No more. Now there's no sort option and you have to go into a players details to see golfid, which is barely readable. It's only the reviews of the old version keeping this rating higher than 1.
