Frustrating annoying

I’ve forgotten how many times I need to reconnect my sound bar through this app. The reconnecting process is a bliffing nightmare, following the simple easy steps of connecting with WIFI and Bluetooth always every time it does nothing to reconnect… when it works it’s a great app but the inconsistent of losing connection between the app and sound bar is an headache (which it isn’t supposed to be). I’m considering uninstalling this app as it is completely useless, at the moment the sound bar works fine without the app unless there’s a new firmware update.

why worry??
I have read the reviews and find it hard to believe that people gave the app bad reviews. I suppose anyone can say unhelpful things and even the possibility that the opposition does want you to know the truth. I own an older LG Smart TV the original LG smart remote no longer functions. But even with this disadvantage I have no trouble connecting to the TV / LG Soundbar using this clever app. It has numerous sound settings, Volume controls, the list goes on..Just be aware that you need to download Google Home App to take full advantage of the LG App they work in parallel. I am no tech expert quite the opposite actually, so if I can set up the app in 10 minutes I expect 99% of you can do likewise. I give the app 5/5 well done LG!

why worry??

I have read the reviews and find it hard to believe that people gave the app bad reviews. I suppose anyone can say unhelpful things and even the possibility that the opposition does want you to know the truth. I own an older LG Smart TV the original LG smart remote no longer functions. But even with this disadvantage I have no trouble connecting to the TV / LG Soundbar using this clever app. It has numerous sound settings, Volume controls, the list goes on..Just be aware that you need to download Google Home App to take full advantage of the LG App they work in parallel. I am no tech expert quite the opposite actually, so if I can set up the app in 10 minutes I expect 99% of you can do likewise. I give the app 5/5 well done LG!

LG has finally replaced its unreliable app melange with a single, simple app that so far seems to work fine. No more being tied to Google for updates or having difficulty keeping the app connected to a sound bar. The user interface needs editing by a good English editor and additional explanation of soundbar features would help new users. A philosophical observation: LG has its TVs controlled by the ThinIQ app and soundbars controlled by this app. It’s a truly schizophrenic universe where my clothes dryer and LG OLED TV live in one app, but my soundbar lives in another app!

This app is completely useless. The prompts to connect to the sound bar equate to NOTHING!! Asks me to join wifi, I can link that, but then it does nothing, you can link it to the Bluetooth, great, links up but won’t transfer accross to the app, once again making the app worthless and a waste of time. I’m trying to connect to my tv and does not connect. I can play audio via bt off my phone just phone but cannot connect to the tv??
