I’ve been using Sharesies for a few years now and it’s honestly one of the easiest investing apps I’ve come across. It takes a lot of the intimidation out of investing and makes it simple to get started, even with small amounts.The app is clean, straightforward, and buying shares or ETFs only takes a few taps. It’s also great that you can invest across different markets from the same app.One feature I really like is the ability to create kids accounts. It’s a really nice way to start investing for your children early and teach them about money as they grow up. The investments belong to the child, while you manage the account for them until they’re old enough to take over. For anyone focused on long-term investing, it just works. Clear fees, easy to use, and constantly improving.Great app. Highly recommend. Can't wait to watch the kid's portfolio grow in the years to come!

Tried it out for an entire month, didn’t get any results at all. I was recommended this app by a podcast and thought I might try it out since it seemed reliable - unfortunately it wasn’t. Using AI in order to verify your identity wasn’t the best idea as it kept getting my documents incorrect, then once it WAS correct and I was good to go, I began investigating and had waited almost two months with no results at all. Invested in to multiple businesses by the way, it’ll just come up with the next date the results might actually come. Complete waste of time if you ask me, I understand that the developers are trying their best though, might just need a few tweaks and updates before I’d personally consider using it again.After all the failed attempts, I’m currently waiting for my money back.Good lesson though, research before using an investing app.

PGA Tour King
Over the years I have tried out nearly all investing platforms available in Australia. This is an excellent app in terms of usability , in my top three, and I like the ability you purchase fractions of US shares. Unfortunately the fees are just a little too high for me (based on my regular fortnightly investment amount)which is a real shame as I would invest regularly otherwise. I would suggest anyone to carefully look at fees associated with the amount and frequency of their investing. I think I will stick with Betashares for ETFs and IBKR and Commsec for my international shares, even though I really dislike the IBKR platform. I will definitely keep Sharesies in mind if they reduce fees.

Invest as little or as much as you like and use the tools in this app to help you learn about share investing along the way. You can use the AI search tool to help as well. Easy to upload and withdraw money from the app. Broker fees are a %of what you invest rather than a flat rate so best for smaller investment amounts. Once you have larger sums of money you’re wanting to invest, it would be best to invest this via a bank share trading website instead.
