China Southern Airlines mobile portal is a multifunctional business platform, which includes flight booking, travel guide, mobile check-in, membership management, ticket verification and flight status. The software is free to download and it is able to provide online reservation and payment of the domestic single trip, return trip without stopover and the single and return international trip of the domestic and abroad departure. Meanwhile, you can check, change and refund your order. The thoughtful, convenient, efficient and user-friendly service we presented, such as seat selection, check-in, mileage inquiry, ticket verification, flight status, mileage redemption, and travel guide will really deliver the five-star customer experience.
I’m writing this review to describe how to change the app to English, which isn’t obvious at all! The way to do it is click on the world icon with the GPS pin in the very top left corner of the main app screen. The language is based on location and it never says anything about app language in this menu, but changing location to an English speaking also selects language!

First time traveled with CSAir. Dhaka - Guangzhou flight was airbus with enough leg space with comfortable seat. Cabin crews were very polite with full helping. Toilets were clean and served food quality was also very good. It was timely flight rather we reached Guangzhou 20 minutes before. Few things need attention like shortage of pillow and blanket. Overall it was good. Our next leg was Guangzhou- Sydney with 787 Dream Liner and entire flight , entertainment, food, crew assistance was outstanding.

The online system was hard to use, but now improving. Availability of award flights is very good. Now easy to order.

Looks like the airline is not interested in non-Chinese speaking customers. The app is more or less not usable, the UI is terrible and not intuitive. It’s a pity because a growing number of people are interested to visit Chins and to use Chinese services… but it’s very hard if you don’t speak or read the language. And please, let your developers check other international airlines apps to see how a good UI looks like…
