This is a Great idea down by multiple alerts. Every time tome it sends you an alert about something it sends it 4 or 5 times. It is so annoying needing to acknowledge the same alert over and over and over.

Exactly as expected from a government app, so I’m smugly satisfied that I didn’t expect much.What it does well is highlight alerts on a map so you can see threat levels, description and the area itself.However, trying to navigate the map is clunky and the app crashes often. There’s no alert notifications because it doesn’t have an option to track your location when you’re not using the app.This app already does what other apps do, it’s just been paid for by the taxpayer and does both a worse job, has more issues and probably costs more.Get WillyWeather, it’s free and gives accurate updates and warnings based on your location. Keep this crappy app too because it still does its job even if it’s poorly.

Way too many needless alerts that keep repeating. Turned off alerts for permit burns and still get them again and again. I must have received 50 alerts for the Promise Land in the last few days. I also receive alerts for outside the watch area I set. Great idea but needs some serious fine tuning and more option buttons that actually work.

Essential in an emergency however you keep getting notification of “burn notices” for your area but can not check on when they are scheduled for or where they are.
