WildMap 2.2 FUEL & SUPPLIES Petrol stations and general stores across Australia from OpenStreetMap, with opening hours where listed. Find it in Layers under AUS. Thanks to the ADA members who asked for it! Plenty of new users told us Settings was hard to find, so there's now a round button beside Search. It opens your Account card: your plan, quick links to Night & Field mode, Map & units, Profile and Offline maps, plus All Settings. The ring around the button shows your plan at a glance. The recording HUD now sits in a slim strip beside Search instead of covering the map. Pull it down for the details card. Pause stays paused, Stop asks once, and a saved track offers View straight away. CREEKS AND GULLIES IN WATERWAYS Waterways now draws Victoria's creek and gully network, about 350,000 km of it, not just the named creeks. It's on by default over Victoria; switch it off in Layers, VIC, Waterways. Creeks and gullies also save with offline areas saved at closer zooms (z13 or closer). Areas saved before this update read Needs top-up once; one Top up adds them. Again, cheers to the ADA's Westernport Branch for the nudge. NEW NOTE FROM THE HUNT DIARY A New note button right in the diary, and notes file into the trip you pick. Preview the flow at any time in the next seven days, in 15-minute steps. - A scent cone that follows the terrain, free for every hunter. It bends around spurs and pools into gullies. Lock it to your position or drag it anywhere on the map. - Weather & Wind hub: a 7-day forecast, hour-by-hour wind speed and direction, temperature, rain, cloud and moon on one screen. The forecast you last loaded stays readable without reception. - Trips now scope your map: start a Trip and the map and lists narrow to that hunt. Queensland is here. If you hunt QLD, you're in. Land boundaries like all other states, and Fire history that shows you where it's burnt and when across parks and forests. Satellite burn scars extend that across all land, including private property. Included free. Tracks on map A season's worth of tracks can bury the map underneath them. You can now hide the ones you're not using without deleting them. The whole lot with one switch, or one track at a time. Offline Maps Save an area and it comes with everything you need to read the country: 3D, satellite imagery, and the map underneath. Nothing to tick, it's the default for every Offline Map Save. Tracks and Routes, one screen. The Tracks you've walked/recorded and the Routes you've planned/drawn now open the same way: same stats, same elevation profile, same controls to name, colour and mark them up.
