Juggle Street is an on-demand job platform to find trusted, local helpers for in-home childcare, odd jobs, and tutoring.

Juggle Street is a trusted, local marketplace with over 130,000 users across Australian & New Zealand and since 2015 more than 60,000 jobs have been posted. The following jobs are available on Juggle Street:

- Babysitting
- Nannying
- Before & after school care
- Odd jobs in and around the house
- Primary School Tutoring*
- High School Tutoring*
* In-home and Online

All helpers are required to have a verified Working With Children Check, and helpers are rated and reviewed after each job is completed. Since 2022 local business have also been allowed to join Juggle Street and post jobs.

Each person posting a job sets the price of the job, and workers apply or decline via the Juggle St app. Juggle Street presents applicant feedback to the person posting the job, allowing adjustments to be made to maximize success. Each employer pays their workers directly at the end of the job.

This app is amazing!! Allows me to connect with local families in the area who need careers for their children. I’ve used Juggle St for years and I’m so happy they finally have an app instead of just a website, it makes things a lot easier to keep on top of and manage.

Expensive experience this time around

I wish I had just gone through my friends and neighbours first of all as that’s where I ended up! I posted a job but many declined for the price. Is there not another way to edit the job without having to redo the whole thing again? I posted this last job 3 times. The first two times with juggle assist and then myself. One person came forward who actually had qualifications or experience. (The rest were studying English as a second language and couldn’t even write to me in English. I had to use google translate to interpret one message.)She completely flaked on me. Just didn’t return my calls. I’ve had this happen previously when a worker just didn’t turn up to look after my kids after school! So I’m not sure what kind of screening process occurs to have some of these girls here. I am disappointed given the price per month. Please don’t follow up with a rebuttal about customer service availability! I would have thought that was the ultimate role of juggle assist being an online service ie to allow us to not worry about having to use the phone.

**EDIT: response to developer comment on edit functionality. Yes you can edit the job but to do so it means restarting the whole job submission and losing any applicants you already have. There should be an easy way to just alter the “blurb” or increase the pay for example without having to wipe the whole job again

There is an 'edit job' option within the job post. This is available on both the desktop and app version of Juggle Street. I am sorry to hear you experienced an unreliable helper. We have zero tolerance for no-shows. This doesn't happen very often however, when it does it is very stressful for the parent. We appreciate being informed of these situations so that we can remove the helper in question, after investigating the matter ourselves.

Don’t bother

App is fine but the membership is not worth it. I’m a parent and anyone I ever contacted through this app /website was so flaky and unreliable - last minute cancellations or not showing up. Either that or people that are totally unsuitable for looking after children (refusing to change nappies, not showing up and lying about their whereabouts etc). The ratings for the babysitters are able to be fudged as ratings are only there once someone has posted a job and then the carer applies and is successful, and only then can you rate. So I had people who wouldn’t show up to a meet and greet for a permanent nanny role, or were unsuitable for other reasons, and you can’t rate them because they were never the successful candidate. I kept trying because once you’ve paid you’re stuck with the subscription, but parents shouldn’t bother - use Facebook or other channels to find carers instead.

**update: developer contacted me and said I should have contacted them via the help button on the app and I would have received a full refund. I did contact them and received no response. **

Our Customer Service team works six days a week and would have immediately assisted with your job post and addressed your concerns. If you had paid for a subscription, you would also have been given you a full refund if you were not satisfied, without question. Juggle Street’s ratings & reviews are triggered after a job has taken place to ensure parents can give accurate feedback on how the helper performed on the job. We also have measures in place to handle unreliable and unresponsive helpers. Juggle Street has placed over 50,000 successful jobs since we launched seven years ago, and thousands of parents renew their memberships every year.
