Easy and way better than Macca's app.

After using the Macca's app I am so grateful for this one. And I appreciate y'all responding to my previous review. I would love it if you added the wicked wings dinner pack as an app option - my fav and in my opinion one of the better quality options. I kind of hate how when you pick a store to go to you get a zoomed in map. Once you put your default/favorite sites in, you should lock it in state/region so it's not hard to find other close stores (with an option to manually switch of course). Things you do well: able to pay at the counter (drive through option), customisable meals, special offers, speedy meals. Things I would like: the wicked wings dinner pack, able to add my receipt thing so I don't have to change it at the counter, maybe a comment box just so I can ask for things beforehand), maybe a PayPal option?Edit: seriously a comment box. I feel sorry for the poor girl that add to in my request

Please save yourself the absolutely god awful experience of this app. I decided to do something different and try KFC’s new app, marketed to me as a ‘fast’ and ‘easy’ way of getting my food. I was intrigued. I was hopeful. Oh boy, was I wrong. After spending about 20 minutes in the application trying to get my order correct, I finally managed to customise my dipping sauces and add my sides without the entire app collapsing in on itself. Supposedly, I’d receive my order in about a half hour. About 30 minutes later I checked on my order, only to find that it had been cancelled by the restaurant due to a ‘miscommunication regarding the details of my order’. I also had numerous texts telling me completely different things, one said to wait while another driver was being found, while the other told me to call kfc! I ended up having to call the delivery support number, which took me to a Doordash call centre. This entire endeavour took about an hour, and at the end of it I was left hungry and extremely annoyed. I also now have to wait five business days for my refund to process. Then, I opened UberEats and ordered maccas. Within 20 minutes of ordering, it was sitting at my front door. This is why MacDonald’s outperforms KFC. I really didn’t think delivering food was that difficult, but man, KFC is doing it VERY wrong.

So it’s happens twice now, one of the times I can say for sure what the problem is and it’s with the “favourite orders” so I select my store, pick my order then go to pick it up, only to find out it had redirected me to another store automatically without notice and I believe it was because that was the one I originally created and save my favourite order from. So unless I throughly look at all the minor details whenever I order it will probably do it again, not only is it kind of annoying already to find the favourite orders I also once I have selected it have to select where I want to pick it up from again... also if that’s the case why is the option even available for not only that but also a favourite store, it would literally be safer and faster for me to just order at the drive through when I get to whatever store I want to order from. So yeah that’s my rant about the app and it’s problems atm it’s cost me a bit of trouble and time now and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone so I hope it is fixed.

Prepaid only on the app is a nuisance given the app doesn’t actually know what they do and don’t have in stock. A few times in the past I have ordered food on this app only to turn up to KFC to hear “sorry, it’s about a 20 minute wait on hot and spicy” or “we don’t have hot and spicy today” (in case you didn’t pick up - I only eat the hot and spicy chicken).This is always a nuisance, however I would normally just cancel and leave. Now that the app is 0”prepaid only” that becomes an issue… I had the “we have no hot and spicy” issue tonight and now I have to wait up to four business days for the money to return to my bank account… I’ll also need to keep an eye on my account to make sure it actually happens and follow up if it doesn’t. This app shouldn’t actually charge money until your order is confirmed at the restaurant, especially given how often my items are not available or hugely delayed. I won’t be using it anymore and probably won’t visit KFC as much, as the main reason I would go is for the “app only” deals.
