the service is a good one & i’ve been using it for about a year, although the app needs work to make more user friendly.

improving the service would include being able to have different pickup & dropoff locations: logistically tricky, but would be very helpful especially if the usual return location is unavailable at the desired time.

related to the above: more 24-hr-accessible locations would be helpful; constraining to dealer business hours reduces flexibility especially when flights arrive later in the day.

for the app: it needs better recovery from suspended state - i often have to quit the app & restart it in order to connect to the car

integration with the iphone password system including faceID is really important - having to re-type user & password whilst standing in the rain holding a bag of shopping on one hand isn’t much fun.

apple watch integration for authentication/unlocking would also be extremely valuable.

i understand the need to expire keys after a period of time, but the re-log-in, re-download-key, re-connect process is clunky and time consuming: this process could be achieved with fewer user interactions especially if faceID was incorporated, eg :
- user asks to connect to car
- app discovers key has expired, prompts user to re-authenticate
- user looks at phone to active face ID
- app downloads new key & continues original connection to car without further user interaction

Such a cool service. Recently hired a car for 7 days with KINTO. It easily saved me 50% of what I would otherwise have to pay any car hire firm. Love the experience. The App is your key to unlock the car. The car was absolutely clean. The cars were mostly hybrid, which help with the fuel economy. They are extremely considerate. Even a usb cord is provided so you can get your Apple CarPlay/Google Maps running & also charge your vehicle. They even provide a fuel card to refuel, saving me some $200 for a 7-day trip. The only thing I feel that can improve is customer service hours. Sometimes it was hard to get in touch with the helpline due to the holiday season. Otherwise, the customer service staff is top notch & provide a great service. Like also how they have simplified excess-reduction insurance. Would just like to see more airport locations & drop-off flexibility at locations different from pick-up points. All in all, very glad I chose KINTO. Just the kind of experience I expect from the worlds largest automaker, Toyota.

It took a little while to get approved but customer service was so helpful and nice. I hired a Toyota CHR for a week and it was such a nice car to drive. Keyless access to the car was so cool, unlocking and locking the car with the app is really easy, just make sure ur phone has enough battery! I had a couple close calls where my phone nearly died before I got back to the car. Locations to hire are close and very easy to locate, love that I didn’t have to go all the way to an airport to hire a car. Also love to mention how much cheaper it is to hire than any other car rental. The ONLY thing that I found a flaw is that on the app where you press to unlock and lock the car, the end booking button is a bit too close, but risky spot to have that, could of accidentally pressed that instead of locking the car XD. Overall though, AMAZING experience, would definitely use again and love to see it expand to more places.
