Lollipop - Smart baby monitor 4+

Great app

We’ve had this for a month now and it works really well. We’ve had no connection issues at all, even managing to connect using a hotspot pretty effectively while we were away (except the audio wouldn’t work for some reason) even though they recommend not to. Love the twisty bottom - we wrapped it around my husband’s Tripp’s in our hotel room while we were away, and it worked perfectly. We haven’t really used any of the other features like white noise or music, so can’t comment on those.

Suggestion: It would be good if there was a button on the live feed somewhere that would switch you straight to audio mode for that camera rather than having to exit the camera and then enter audio mode (just saving a few seconds).

Terrible performance issues

The hardware itself is adequate, however I’ve had issues with the app from the start. This review is purely for the app itself.
It’s slow to connect the camera during set up with multiple failed attempts. I’ve had the camera sitting next the our wifi router during setup so connectivity isn’t an issue.
When I finally got the camera working on my phone I’m constantly presented with the background play discontinued message. Often appearing 3-4 times in the space of a minute. As a mother of a young baby, I have constant worry I will miss my baby crying or waking due to the app disconnecting. It leaves me always having to have the app open. This creates other issues draining my battery and not being able to check other apps while my baby is sleeping. The development team should see performance and reliability as a fundamental priority. Ditch all the other unnecessary features and dedicate your team to performance. I’m now considering spending money on another product that’s more reliable. What a waste!

Baby monitor/camera

Absolutely LOVE!! Night vision is amazing, love all the features, You can have this app logged in on as many devices as you want, you can also share it with your family so they can see Bub sleep/play, the only down fall is you have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription if you want to have your recorded footage stored for 30 days at a time and you want access to it, that is a bit sucky in my option, but the camera quality is amazing, sound too! You can turn on supplied white noise options with a timer, take pictures if Bub is doing something cute while your watching, definitely happy with my purchase over a traditional monitor, find it better having it connected to smart phone.
