Overall The Best I’ve Used

Used Hema, BillyGoat, ExplorOz and several other GPS type apps targeted to Cycling and MMfA certainly has the least downsides. Nothing will every be perfect as it not possible to roll all the different products best features into a single product. Just about to use MMfA as the primary mapping/logging app on a long road trip and am expecting a positive experience. Agree with one of the comments that being able to orientate the map in direct of travel, whilst sort of being contrary to the use of a “Map”, would be nice

Go to nav app

As a user of hema, osman, Gaia I can report that for my bushwalking and remote navigation this app is my favourite. It is feature rich and fairly intuitive to use. It doesn’t have always have the maps you may be looking for but for 99% of the time, it is the best choice for planning your trips in the great outdoors.

Good solid nav app

Been using for about 6 months now and I’m very happy with the app. A few things I’d like to see in future updates is being able to customise bulk waypoints when importing from 1 file or even from within overlay list. It’s kind of annoying having to individually customise waypoint colours and icon styles. Also there really needs to be a course heading up feature, it can get quite confusing when driving. A built in POI overlay lost would be good to.
