It just works!

It’s rare to see that apps just works. Quick to download, no fuss sign up with Paypal. Even the barcode location on the app is well thought out with regards to the barcode scanner on the machine. Well done! The only thing that got me is the “how it works” screen. I think people expect it to be a swipe interface rather than a click interface to move forward.

Five stars - but…

App works well if you like PayPal refunds. Love the included little challenges too.However - I consider PayPal slow in terms of the time it takes until the money hits my bank account (and starts earning interest for me), and it requires a separate login to PayPal to finally transfer it out.So I was at first thrilled to see the added support for bank transfers.But in order to set that up, I assumed I will state my bank account and BSB numbers and save them - done.However this is far from so. I am asked to state my netbank login (!) and password (!) on a site that is not my banks own.This is clearly against the terms and conditions of the online banking feature at my bank, and it is shonky-shady for Tomra to ask this of me.Two stars off for an otherwise five star app until this is fixed.Stating BSB and account numbers totally suffices in order for someone else to send you money.

App works well if you like PayPal refunds. Love the included little challenges too.However - I consider PayPal slow in terms of the time it takes until the money hits my bank account (and starts earning interest for me), and it requires a separate login to PayPal to finally transfer it out.So I was at first thrilled to see the added support for bank transfers.But in order to set that up, I assumed I will state my bank account and BSB numbers and save them - done.However this is far from so. Tomra machines constantly breaking down

I have been using Tomra system for a number of years and have had to up with the machinery malfunctioning sometimes breaking down forcing me to relocate to another Tomra site.Just recently I was forced to go from auburn site to Strathfield site due to the glass bottle machine malfunctioning and was fined for a parking offence causing me to lose money even while doing the right thing. In addition the concord site which was my closest Tomra site closing down, forcing me to travel further afield.Initially I thought it was good for the environment however it has become harder and harder to recycle.

Free should be free
Hate that it logs me out all the time. Would be nice if we could save three or four different favourite locations. I don’t have a local point, so I either drop off before work or shopping or visiting people, so it would be good if I could save all of my regular locations to see which ones are open quickly. The map is a pain, every time I change location it puts me back in Sydney and I have to move the map. I don’t live anywhere near Sydney !
