Auto shazam SUCKED
Thank you SO much for correcting the autoshazam! The button is exactly what I wanted and needed!
Needs to be able to select different audio sources.
Program needs a selectable audio source option in its’ preferences.
At the moment the only audio source on my iMac is the built-in mic.
This is great if you are playing music in a room with the computer listening through the mic.
However, if you play music through another audio source (web browser, game, iTunes or other application) it is useless as it cannot hear the music.
“Virtual Audio Cable” (VAC) programs such as “loopback” can bypass this omission for Shazam and many other similar programs, but this should not be needed.
The option should be built right into the program.
I will not improve my rating until this feature is added.
Kills CPU
The app works as expected, but I find that some time after using it on my Mac (an hour or two), my fans kick in and when I check iStat, Shazam is using around 200% CPU. Then I quit it. Also, I can't seem to connect Shazam from my phone to my computer.
