Spydus Mobile is your anywhere 24/7 library. Search your library for books, e-books, movies, music and more. And once you’ve found what you are looking for, you can download, save, or reserve the items. The Spydus Mobile “Discover” feature has suggested reading such as featured lists, new arrivals, and personalised recommendations. It’s your library in the palm of your hand.

App not working
I had great hope for this app but it freezes, search option not working and no graphics on book covers.
Current issues with app
I’ve never had any problems with this app until the last week or so, when all of a sudden I can’t use the “Discover” function at all. This means I cannot currently reserve items through the app because it cannot find them. The “My account” function is working fine though.
For future updates, the ability to get app support in the app itself would be really helpful.
I don’t want to leave a rating but I have no choice so it’s a 3, based on the generally very good functionality combined with the current limited functionality.
Slow to use
The main way I use the iPhone app is as a library card. Which means at the checkout desk, I open the app, which takes a while to load, then tap on the menu, then tap on Borrower Barcode, which takes even longer to load. I wish I could swap the Scan shortcut on the home screen (which my library doesn’t use) with Borrower Barcode to make the whole process faster.
