Plenty of games cast you as an outgoing hero, exploring the wilds with sword in hand - but nobody does it quite like Superbrothers. Stunning art, a haunting soundtrack and poetic storytelling combine to create a magical, mythical mystery that stays with you long after you put it down.

It's either your thing or not. Love this game. Strangely have had this sitting on iPad for many years untouched after hastily floundering through the opening interface and stumbling into the game environment. I found the visuals captivating in style and the audio unobtrusive... and after a few minutes of confused play I thought, “later when I'm feeling deeply reflective”. Haha... squeaky wheel got the grease!
So years later looking for something clever, witty, soothing, unapologetically mysterious but not impossibly challenging I ventured back into the SS interface. Different mindset.
This time I got it right from the start... EXPLORE the interface as your introduction in how to interact with the game play. You need a tactile brain approach rather than analytics. Rotate!

Ahh it's so goood!
This game is honestly amazing! I feel like it's a mix between monument valley and infinity blade moulded into one fabulous tale. I like the challenge attached to this game too, considering that some things are left unclear for the purpose of actually using your brain to figure out the next step!
Also, the soundtrack and art is just stunning and creates a beautiful and calm atmosphere throughout the entire game!
Ah, if only it never ended.
