This app is ok

As a new customer who has switched to vanguard super this app has left an incredibly poor first impression. When you want to use the enquiry/message feature you are prompted to select from a list of topics - some of which contain special characters (/). But you are not allowed to use special characters in any part of of the message or title meaning you cannot send an enquiry about the most important parts of super fund management ie Contributions and rollovers! You also cannot use any form of punctuation in the message making it very hard to read or writeif describing anything other than the most simple of issues. It is very basic functionality to make an online form able to read “special characters” and an institution the size of vanguard should be doing much better. Hopefully their investment performance makes up for this sub-standard customer experience!!

Needs a way to stay logged in

As others have said, the app largely works great. It’s easy to use and provides access to all the key features quickly. That is once you’re logged in. The app, for whatever reason, currently insists you login from scratch each time. And with no integration with password managers, this usually involves copying and pasting a password from another app into the Vanguard app, just to view your portfolio.

As it currently stands, I’d probably only use the app to manage my investment, depositing and withdrawing. The login issue prevents it from being usable for daily monitoring of your portfolio, and so you’d probably be best using another app for that.

Usable but still lacking

Using a tablet but for some reason the app is not catered for it.
The view looks like a stretched version of a mobile app view and it doesn’t even fit the whole screen. When tablet is on landscape mode the app doesn’t recognise it and stays in portrait mode.
I am using the web version as it is more usable and compatible to the device I have. In terms of features, a graph and/or table of the progress of the investments would help for a quick view.
