Can’t access my subscription and no one wants to fix the problem
I have subscribed to this magazine through the app for about 5 years but two weeks ago I got an error message (like others in the past couple of weeks) when I attempted to download the current issue. I have contacted pacificmagazine and Apple but both have blamed the other so I’m left with a worthless yearly subscription an no magazine! Please fix this app as I cannot access any of my previous issues and cannot download any current issues! What a waste of money and time! Have cancelled my subscription!
App finally fixed after weeks of no access to magazine
After 5 weeks of not being able to access my subscription the app has finally been replaced with (what seems to be) an improved version. Double page spreads are easier to read in the new format and restoration of purchases (for iTunes subscribers) worked fine. Let’s hope it lasts! Only 4 stars because I’m not yet convinced the app will continue to work over time.
One star is one too many
The app works with iTunes subscription but not via pacific magazines subscription. Subscribetoday etc. you can create an account but the account can’t communicate with the application which results in no access to magazines. I spent time on the phone and email several times. More. No joy just palmed from one to the other and all my time wasted. They couldn’t even get the refund done. I gave up completely. Waved my money goodbye.. and discovered if you search the internet you can find digital copies of this magazine uploaded weekly for free.
