WorldRemit - Send Money Abroad 4+

I’ve been sending money to people for at least 25 years so I’ve had plenty of time to experience various businesses masquerading as “real” money sending businesses. And then I happened upon World Remit (WR).

I have now been sending through WR for at least 2 years. Started off on a desktop but now use the app exclusively. The app is slick and easy to use. Never had to contact them because everything just works. You’re not left in the dark about the status of your money because WR understands that communication is key. And it is truly money in minutes (even seconds!).

I’ve tried them all. :) Especially that other one, and anyone who sends money knows the company I refer to…

I have also, much to my pain and agony tried sending money through at least 2 major banks…the result of those events was third party fees erosion and monies stuck in third party world bank accounts, forever.

If you wish to retain the last strands of hair on your beautiful head, delete the others and download the only money sending app you’ll ever need. And to WR, I’m awarding the creator of this app The Order of International Money Sending Medal. :)

The sole act of making a customer suffer for days and days with no actual support is the worst experience I have ever had to go through… Never again I will use this service. NEVER and I will make sure to let everyone around me know the awful experience of having to BEG to get my money back after a WEEK!!! Of waiting and ONLY receiving the SAME copy and paste scripts .
As a company which is supposed to provide an international transfer service, you failed completely on doing so… And instead of apologising and understanding that it was an EMERGENCY TRANSFER, you failed to even CARE and FORCED me to wait for a WHOLE WEEK!!! Companies like this shouldnt be allow to force customers even though I requested over and over again to kindly refund my money only to respond with the same copy and paste response. To make it even more painful, I have to wait 24 to 48 hours to even be allowed to cancel the transaction and after that another 7 WORKING DAYS to get my money back??? So I am looking at another week or even more to end this awful experience.

On top of that, the app is just the cherry on top : Doesn’t work, screens me out, and for me to contact them via chat I have to remain on it otherwise I will never know when im getting a message , no notification and quite quick to end my chat without getting me through

I was t he regular customer of WorldRemit and I recommended it to many of my friends but now i’m totally disappointed because of my last transaction. I sent the money and choose the option for Cash Pickup when my father reached to the bank the bank told to him we haven’t received any money from WorldRemit. I tried to call the Customer Support and after a long hold they pick my call and advised me that they already made the transaction and it should be available in your nominated banks. Than i said can you please contact with them and than they replied me we can only write a mail to them , i said ok but please let me know because i’m much worried. I waited for whole day but didn’t get any response from them tried to call them again next day and again after the so terrible customer service as I explained above they put me on hold for so long and when they picked my call and explained them everything and they were like “ok we can understand but we can only write them an email and than we will get back to you” and still haven’t got any response from them and today is my 3rd day and i’m writing this review and still i’m on call and they put me on hold for so long. Now I’m really worried and trapped as well and don’t know what to do !!!
